Not sure if this thread will take off, but I think it’s a cool opportunity to share some music we’ve found with each other.

Hexecutor: Thrash metal band from France. These guys seem to keep a low profile, but they are starting to finally get a little bit more attention. I found this band’s release at the end of 2016 and it blew me away. There is some real Reign In Blood-level aggression, with some incredible riffs and rotten but appropriate vocals.

Cool, I hadn’t heard Valkyrie before, but I had seen mention of them on the thrash metal recommendation channel thread. They sound pretty solid.
That music video was kind of bizarre with basketball play in the gym...was kind of wondering why they opted for what looks like a high school or college gym basketball game for some footage interspersed in with the thrash.

Critical Defiance: I’ve just now listened to this album twice, and overall I think it’s great thrash metal from Chile. There are a few surprising elements here, but also in a typical thrash package. Vocals are a little ugly, and some complained about it, but I personally love the vocals. There are some very surprising trad heavy metal twin guitar leads every now and then on the record, which are really cool moments when implemented.

Really badass, Slayer-esque thrash attack. The drum might sound too mechanical and compressed for many, but I personally love it.

Thanks for sharing that. I also enjoyed it. That band name is unfamiliar to me.

I feel compelled to share my band's latest album.

The thrashiest tracks are probably the first one (the brief intro leads into the first song) and the last one if you'd like to scroll through it. I'm especially proud of the final song.

Band: Nukem
Song: Nukem All

Great energy, nice riffing and a helluva kick ass solo. It's not on Youtube so I'm not sure where you'd go to hear this.

For something that you can see on Youtube that also kicks ass:

I went straight to the last song per your comment, and I have to say, that was really solid! Nice one! I’ll have to hear the rest of the album. Cheers!

Condition Critical: This is a band that, while they have a number of fans, I feel surprised they aren’t bigger than they are. They’ve just got a really nice, fresh take on thrash metal. Kind of a Demolition Hammer level of intensity, with a very rumbly bass sound that is fun to hear throughout their work, and some incredible riffs and solo work. I’m a fan.

Italian band, doesn't seem to get much recognition, totally recommended though.

Harter Attack: I found this band by accident a few years ago. In my opinion, this is one of the most tragically overlooked thrash metal hidden gems out there. This record is incredible. I kind of feel like it is what you’d get if you mixed Reign in Blood with Nuclear Assault.
