So, Inter Arma’s song The Long Road Home has this beautiful, intricate, kind of otherworldly guitar leads with a Pink Floyd vibe.
I was thinking about other metal songs that have something similar going on with the guitars. Inter Arma have a couple more. Blut Aus Nord have Elevation. Pallbearer’s got Dancing In Madness. Help me think up some more metal songs with this kind of guitar, please!

Nokturnal Mortum's Valkyrie should very much fit your description. While starting the song off like like you'd expect from a Black Metal band, at around the 4th minute mark the song breaks into the kind of guitar-playing you're looking for.

Not 100% fitting answer, but Venenum and their Trance Of Death album?

Side B) contains a Suite, with very unusual parts like the middle section with a bluesy tunes and a minimum distortion on the guitar sound.
Of course this nowhere close to any Pink Floyd era, but the idea behind might be similar.

Hmn... I'll go for any of the recent Tiamat's albums. That stuff is full of floydish influences.

the leads on Tiamat's Gaia are very Floydish. some other stuff that Magnus Sahlgren has played on, like Lake of Tears, too...

there's plenty of metal guitarists who try to emulate Gilmour's tone, but their phrasing is not up to scratch :/

Ice Dale's solo on Enslaved's song Ground does a pretty great Pink Floyd impression

Reminded me on something: when Tiamat were on tour with Sentenced in early '95 (Gaia/Amok tour), they played a nice Pink Floyd cover - Set the controls for the heart of the sun.

Skyclad - Quantity Time
Around the 3 minute mark, total Gilmour worship. And a beautiful song with great lyrics, as usual.

Gamma Ray - Heading for Tomorrow
A fantastic song, the underlying verse riff is based on Victim of Changes and then at 3:35 begins the long mellow solo section, where Kai definitely channels his love for PF. It slowly builds to an epic break and finale.

Gamma Ray - Heal Me
Kai sings in this Ralf-ear song. Tribute to Queen and Pink Floyd. One might even say "theft" regarding that Pink Floyd part. You'll know when you hear it.

Not songs but albums... Tiamat's Wildhoney album contains some PF-style songs. Enslaved's Vertebrae has those influences all over it. Alchemist mellowed out a little bit at times on Organasm and Austral Alien. For something nowhere near as heavy as the previous stuff, Riverside have an obvious Pink Floyd influence.

Currently listening to the "More" album from Pink Floyd. Song "Main Theme" is playing and I can definitely hear stuff that influenced Alchemist heavily on their best record "Spiritech" in their guitar/keyboard-jamming during the songs. Very worth to check out.

Manes - Uten Liv Ligger Landet Oede

Atmospheric lo-fi 90s black metal. Very Floyd-esque soaring leads come in around 3:15

Listened to The Ruins Of Beverast and their Takitum Tootem! EP. Wow, what an insane Set The Controls Of The Heart Of The Sun coverversion. Beyond mental illness, what a monster.

2nd: I listened yesterday during work-out to Pan.Thy.Monium - Dawn Of Dreams CD. What a monster and I would call it Pink Floyd of Swedish Death Metal, in case the band would have grown up in Stockholm late 80es instead of Cambridge in late 60es.
First track is a 22min monster, starting with some Time-like clocks (that also appear at the end/outro of the song again) with massive riff-changes, atmosphere-changes, speed- and style-changes throughout the song, as well as a chaotic middle part. Sounds description wise like Echoes, no? Very very cool thing. Also the other tracks are fantastic and the voice in the outro of the album whispers "Echoes" (on the demo the outro is called "Ekkhoeece").
=> The Meddle of Swedish Death Metal maybe. At times, the bass sound resembles on Roger's bass handling too and these crazy keyboard sounds together with the crazy saxophone arrangements, ha... What a monster record from Dan Swanö and his colleagues.

Finnish band Throes Of Dawn and their latest album 'Our Voices Shall Remain' have these songs...

I followed the band up to their 3rd album or so, and I somehow found these new songs randomly. Well, of what I heard, I must check out the band's latter work, too!!!!!

Try with the finnish band Decoryah

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Decoryah/1116

Despite the poor production, the music has a huge Pink Floyd vibe.
