Hey guys, I'm looking for some relatively melodic stuff with some strong baritones. I've been listening to a lot of Dan Swano and hes got me in that mood.
For example

Exactly what I'm looking for.

Dark At Dawn all the way. They've apparently (and unfortunately, if so) disbanded, but left great songs as a legacy, and their singer had a hoarse baritone voice that sounds quite unique in my opinion:

You can try Mystifier's "The World Is So Good That Who Made It Doesn't Live Here". However the baritone vocals are a love-it-or-hate-it thingy on this record. As much as I like the two earlier releases of this furious occult South American Death Metal band, the more I really dislike their third effort. And the guy should have hit more notes correctly, than he actually did...

I second Dark at Dawn, just recently discovered them myself. Michael Seifert of Rebellion has similar voice, and their Viking trilogy was pretty awesome:

Try also Her Whisper:

Blaze Bayley should be an obvious choice:

For something further removed from heavy and power metal, you could try some gothic metal, for example, Moonspell has clean baritone vocals (mixed with some growls).

A bit on the weirder side of metal: Kargeras by Root has impressive deep vocals and a guitar playing to die for. It's an excellent and very creative album

The Boss is more of a bass, or bass baritone, than baritone, but yes, that era of Root albums have amazing, dramatic, deep vocals. Between the albums released between and including The Temple in the Underground and Madness of the Graves, Kärgeräs is probably my least favourite, but I definitely recommend that stuff anyway. My personal favourite album is The Book. Like you said, the guitar playing is to die for, and the creativity displayed on those albums is without parallel.

I don't think in this case there is a need to split hairs over this, especially since there is quite the overlap between those vocal ranges. I did sing in a choir myself, and was a baritone (1st bass), but quite often we, the baritones, had to substitute for basses or 2nd tenors.

That said, I agree with all of the above about Root being awesome. The Book is my fave too.
