it's one of those landmark albums, an inspiring step further in the tech metal underground, but for all it's status I haven't really heard so much stuff that tries, inexplicably or otherwise, to replicate the experience of this album. Structurally, I think it's easier to compare to the rigid, start-stop antics of certain math rock/post hardcore pioneers like Fugazi, and even taking some jagged guitar cues from stuff like Gang of Four. Jazzy and hyped up rocking all throughout, interesting dynamics and an off kilter texture approach.

I'm a big fan of Ved Buens Ende, and while they're pretty far from being any sort of "clone", obviously way more dissonant and with a more continual flow of guitar vernacular, I feel they're at least in the ballpark.

Not exactly metal, but 88Kasyo Junrei are in the ballpark, particularly this album which is particularly clean and space-y while retaining the dissonance ala Nothingface, though some of the songs are more jam-oriented than what Voivod would usually do.

there's a band named Treponem Pal, they were hailed as (goodish) Voivod clones when their debut came out. they went a bit more industrial afterwards...

Is Polish Myopia anywhere near what you are looking for?

I've only heard their debut album 'Enter Insect Masterplan', though. This is perhaps a tad harsher than 'Nothingface'. Maybe even flirting with Eric Forrester era Voivod.
