Hi again,

Im looking for some pure symphonic death metal songs/bands but highly melodic with less progressive elements like a lot of septic flesh songs. Additionality Im looking for more Death than Gothic things like cardle of filth or Black like dimmu borgir.

Thanks

Well, Fleshgod Apocalypse would be the obvious recommendation. Otherwise, have a listen to this: https://youtu.be/hA9BbIKxx1w

Hollenthon are still unsurpassed in this field. The whole With Wilest of Worms to Dwell album just smokes. The other two are great as well.

Spoiler: show

You should check Aquilus, the orchestrations are amazing and they have great guitar riffs too.

Just was about to create a new thread, then saw this one.
Could you guys recommend me some proper sympho death in a vein of Mayan? I was just blown away by their last (2018) album. I honestly think this style makes it possible to fulfil full potential of Mark's creativity, once lost after he left After Forever.
