There a ton of fast BM, but one that's perhaps a little out of the ordinary that I've revisited recently is Empaligon - pretty fast and furious

One that sprang to my mind where there's relentless blasting and pummeling the drums yet the songs still don't across as monotonous (well, they are not): Keep of Kalessin - Armada. Not sure this applies to all their albums - I remeber them going downhill after this one, and I haven't rvisited the first couple in a long time.

Spoiler: show

Other than Dominator from Dark Funeral, Stormblast from Thunderbolt and Infernal War plays some really fast parts.

Around 2:30 here: https://youtu.be/3Xrb-PXVpt8

Mother Anorexia - Anorexia Nervosa. That whole album is pretty fast.

Magnificat-era Spite Extreme Wing were the metal equivalent of a rollercoaster, and songs like Acqua Fonte di Gloria fully display well the drummer's ferocity from 0:35 onwards

A band that i remember only for the ridicolous drumming are Wintersoul:
their album isn't that great IMHO but listen to the song Thorns of Winter, it sounds like the cousin of Kolias

That dead of winter track sounds like Revenge or Conqueror. So probably you might want to look up for so called "war metal" bands and their canadian counterparts.

I would also like to recommend the last Immortal Album "Northern Chaos Gods". The Drumming on this Album is pretty fast and very distinct.

All the norsecore-era stuff by Marduk was essentially just hyperblast with demented lyrics.

Don't forget these: Pagan Winter "Inferos", Setherial "Lords of the nightrealm" (although the late Otto Wiklund's blasting comes better to the fore on the first 2 In Battle albums), and Immortal's 2nd and 3rd albums. Horgh is NOT Krieg, btw. Erik (RIP just like Otto) and even sped-up Abbath is the wayy to go.

Italian band Necrodeath comes to mind. Their first two albums are kickass 80s thrash, then they had a 10-year break and their 3rd & 4th albums sounded to me more like black metal, or black-thrash, and they're seriously out of control, each is just a relentless white-knuckle ride:

In Battle look interesting, I'll have to check them out too.

Impiety is probably worth a try also - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W80cFULcIwE
Kaos Kommand 696 & Terroreign are the albums to start with imo

You should definitely listen to Hantises by Frozen Shadows : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fhKYWT7WSg
That drummer is fast and that album is brilliant.
Their two others releases are great too.

You could try the Anaal Nathrakh demos and first album before they started pretending to be smart. I'd describe it as generic Norway worship played at the speed and (lack of) complexity of Panzer Division Marduk and the loud drums and weird vocals and sound effects of early Impaled Nazarene. So basically as if Michael Bay directed a black metal album.

Tsjuder - Desert Northern Hell is a solid whiplash ride.

Belphegor - Necrodaemon Terrorsathan is considered black/death by the archives, but jesus its another ripshit ride.

The Legion (swe) had some pretty killer stuff. Like a faster, more aggressive version of Dissection. Or a more technical version of Dark Funeral. Had plenty of Emperor-like atmosphere too. The drummer was Emil Dragutinovic, who also played drums for Marduk on World Funeral and Plague Angel. That is to say, you can expect fast, intense drumming.

I'm not merging this with the Black Metal Help Thread anymore, because the posts would be scattered and lost there, but this is a reminder to use the megathreads whenever appropriate. If it's a big genre, even if you're looking for some particular variety of it, there's always a megathread for it that should be preferred.

Not going to continue further on this thread, but I think this hits the nail for the seeker

Now this guy is like a real machine gun. Only Antaeus live gave me more or less the same impression.
