I used to talk quite a bit to Scott Putesky, before his death. I remember one time him telling me he was influenced by the guitarist from Siouxsie and the Banshees. I cant for the life of me remember which one. When I checked it out at the time, I totally heard it. I have no idea though now. I know there are some fans here of Siouxsie and the Banshees. Its a long shot, but does anyone know the guitarist? Or which one sounds very similar to the guitar on Portrait of an American Family? I thought it might be the guy who played on Kaleidoscope, but I don't hear it.

Now for a higher level song like Moth Into Flame. I specifically remember getting in trouble at school for hearing this the day it was released for having my phone out and then defiantly saying to my teacher Fuck off Im listening to a new Metallica song
