Of the catchy/atmospheric DM I like Obituary and Bolt Thrower as well as the Finnish DM scene like Abhorrence, early Amorphis, early Sentenced, Slugathor. I also like some Purtenance and Grave Miasma. I found most of the Swedish scene to bland, not to my liking.
I haven't listened to too many BM, I mostly had a listen to 1349 (maybe Tsjuder).
Combination? Belphegor maybe.
