Big fan of Trap Them - the crust influences, Kurt Ballou's influences in production.

I find Baptists to be similar in style just as an example of other bands I enjoy.

Looing for more in this vein.

Cheers.

Maybe obvious maybe not so much anymore but later Disrupt? Prob their biggest influence.
Ictus and Nuclear Devastation are both metallic crust bands that don't quite fit into the classic stenchcore mold.
Less crusty would be Catharsis, All Pigs Must Die and Cursed.

I'd lump Early Graves and Enabler under the same umbrella as Trap Them. I think you'll enjoy both those bands if you haven't heard them already. Enabler's All Hail the Void album is particularly awesome, along with their Flies and Shift of Redemption EPs. Unfortunately their later stuff never reached the same heights and they basically imploded a few years ago following some domestic abuse allegations.

If you don't mind going a little more dissonant, Gaza (and their reincarnation Cult Leader) are again something that fits under the same umbrella as Trap Them.

I do know Enabler bu Early Graves is new to me! I'll check 'em out! Gaza is another that I'm just acquainted with, but I'll go deeper into their catalogue.

Cheers for the recs!

I'm in a band called Awful Noise, more deathgrind but do add PV/Crustcore influences etc

Check out the band Dead In The Dirt and their album The Blind Hole. The music's relatively close to Trap Them, the vocals a little less so

They destroy, don't they?

I stumbled across them quite by accident in my recent search for new grind- and I listen to a LOT, go through a lot of bands to find what's to my taste and which I also consider high quality. I was looking more for bands along the lines of Nasum or Discordance Axis when I came across this, and they immediately reminded me of Trap Them in certain ways.

And I love Trap Them.

It can be a bit hard to recommend bands similar to Trap Them because people usually like different aspects of the band.

If you like the crusty part:
Nuclear Death Terror
Disrupt

If you like the grindy part:
Nasum
Rotten Sound (early)
Internal Rot
Weekend Nachos
Pig Destroyer (early)

If you like the combination of all of it:
Nails
Fordærv
Black Breath
The Secret
Martyrdöd
All Pigs Must Die
Young and in the Way
