I've always enjoyed the acoustic work of the 90s Gothenburg bands, pieces like Pallar Anders Visa and Into Infinite Obscurity. I've learned some of these pieces on guitar, but I'm looking for more. What artists can I follow? Which composers can I study? Rather than more of these interludes, I'm mostly looking for the artists that gave these songwriters inspiration.

basically: instrumental acoustic pieces, flatpicked or fingerpicked, minor keys with harmonized leads

thanks!

I've no familiarity with pure swedish folk music, but i was too really interested in this kind of melodies and i've discovered the prog folk scene of Sweden:

studying by ear pieces by Anglagard (songs like Kung Bore) and Kebnekaise (songs like Barkbrödslåten) has been a tough yet incredibly fun journey.
You can give them a listen and see if they are what are you looking for: they both have some electric guitar, but they still sound great on acoustic
