I'm thinking mainly Beherit on Drawing Down the Moon, but also more death metal-influenced bands like Lucifer's Hammer (US) and others like Masochist, Demoncy on Joined in Darkness, and especially certain tracks by Perverted Ceremony and Moenen of Xezbeth.

(especially the part at around 3:05)

I think Samael on their first three albums have these rather similar murky synth pads, especially on Ceremony of Opposites so I welcome something more accessible and doomy too.

I think Imprecation should be pretty much spot on for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5ftCJWnR0Q

Definitely a death metal band, though, not really black metal.

Yeah, that's perfect. Know 'em already though.

A certain Cruciamentum song comes to mind, too. Especially the ending.
