Bands that explicitly oppose racism, religious bigotry, violence against women. Any genre.

Fine if it's all about murder, cosmic evil, global annihilation, etc., just in an equal opportunity sort of way.

Thanks!

Lord Goatcorpse has a shitload of one-man projects in which he explicitly condones any kind of fascist, racist and mysoginist manifestation - even mentioning the fact that it happens within the metal environment:

This band's name explicitly refers that they're totally anti-racist. "ROAR" is an acronym for "Resistencia Organizada Ante Todo Racismo", which means "organized resistance against all forms of racism" in Spanish. However, there are no lyrics available.

The American black metal band Woe I think is very anti-racist and anti-fascist. The first two albums are also really really good!

Grindcore, crust and hardcore punk is full of it of course, but from metal some popped into mind:

Kreator is a pretty obvious one.

Gorefest started doing lyrics about racism and religion etc on False.

Totenmond has Anti-Nazi logos on their albums and on the liner notes of Unter Knochen they basicly thank neo-nazis for wasting their money on leftist anarchist propaganda. Their sound and image has often been mistaken for being far right, even though they've got an old school punk background basicly.

From more metal leaning crust bands Nux Vomica is a good one.

Appalachian Terror Unit, awesome Thrash/Crossover band. They have lyrics against racism and against rape.

Agathocles is an obvious one. Death/grind with a million releases. Some people call them the founder of 'mincecore' which is a label given to some grindcore bands with socio-political themes.

Thanks all! Encouraged to see this thread still going. Actually didn’t know Kreator’s politics, only album I’m familiar with is Pleasure to Kill.

They made their stance pretty clear on Coma of Souls.
