The repetitive clanking inside the labor factories, the distant whistling of the trains, steam engines working in unisson

I am trying to find music that gives off that 1800s industrial revolution feeling, preferably with industrial elements. Also i don't want just lyrical themes, I want an audible atmospheric experience

It doesn't need to be metal, it could be industrial music, noise, drone or whatever genre you can find that does the job.

Anything on that line?

La Torture des Tenebres

This album in particular I felt captures that. It can be very grating to listen to though, but I personally love it. Some noisy industrial black metal here

Funny, I've listened to that LTdT album before but never noticed the oldies industrial rev references, I always though of it as a creepy industrial bm band like Gnaw their Tongues. But now that you mention it, the elements are indeed there.
