Hello, all. I have a simple question, what are the fastest thrash bands you can give me? By that, I mean realistically fast (as in a human could play everything on the record), not some hyper-speedcore stuff.

Any reccs will be appreciated!

This one comes to mind, but I have heard speculation that they sped up the tapes. You be the judge.

The first three Nuclear Assault records contain a vast array of fast songs (especially the first one). Try to listening to stuff from "Survive" - that record is underrated and while not fast all the time the fast sections are AMAZING.

Early D.R.I. and early Cryptic Slaughter, if you're into more crossover-style stuff. Morbid Saint, Sadus and Dark Angel are probably the two biggest and iconic that come to mind, both are insanely fast with some amazing music. Demolition Hammer if you want more straightforward heavy/groovy stuff. Two of my other favourites are Sabbat (UK) and Soothsayer. Those bands are fast in a really bizarre way, like the vocalist mimics the riffs which makes the music sound a lot quicker.

Another hint towards FAST stuff - some of the songs of Deathwish's "Demon Preacher" (like the title track) are fast as hell. Very underrated band and record - try it and you will not be dissapointed!
