I'm searching for chiptune, dungeon synth, or any other electronic-related music equivalents of extreme metal, specifically avant-garde black metal or abstract death metal. If it incorporates features like odd abrasive sounds, tempo changes, strange rhythms, fast speeds, complex compositions, trippiness, all the better! (Not all of these are necessary though)

Noisy, chaotic, etc. But not quite actual Noise like Merzbow.

Some examples below:

I realize these are chiptune covers of metal, but did someone go create a subgenre like this with original material??

Extreme metal does not necessarily have to be a direct influence or direct template either. Really, any electronic music that's chaotic can fit.

I appreciate any help.

Hello.
Check out these bands:

Ozigiri:

Diabarha:

There's also an electronic music genre called extratone in which the beats can go as fast as 1000 bpm. Diabarha has some songs like this:

Try this:

Machine Girl are known for making really chaotic electronic music, with a lot of influence from punk and hardcore.

A bit of an obvious replacement for extreme metal is aggrotech, which is basically hard bass electronic music with harsh vocals

About fast speed dark psytrance comes to mind. Often the songs are long and tempered with weird random noises all over the place

The genre speedcore is very diverse and has some crazy stuff. A lot of it is more to the happy side of electronics, tho. Same with lolicore, samplecore and all the other related genres.

For complex compositions, I recommend the subgenres braindance and breakcore. Atmospheric drum and bass also comes pretty close.

Maybe try some gabber music?

Nasenbluten's been a notable act for that style. Big mashup of hardcore edm, breakbeat, and some industrial.

Disasterpeace - Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar

I am a huge fan of chiptune, but I don't know if this album are anything like what you're looking for. I mean, chiptune isn't really a genre, but more a method of how to make your music, so a chiptune album can sound a bit like everything really.. But this album is truly something special. It's THE chiptune album to have for sure.

I am also a huge fan of Chipzel - Disconnected which is much easier to get into as it is more focused on danceable, catchy tunes. Superb album tho.

Thanks everybody for the recommendations! I’m still going through several of these, but yeah, really cool stuff.

Big thanks to YesIAm for the Disasterpeace recommendation. That has opened a lot of doors. Rise... I found to be excellent—- I purchased that and a couple other Disasterpeace albums.

Check out Technicolor Stimulant! They're more noise/avant-garde than metal, but are definitely chaotic. Lots of tempo changes, improvisation/chromatic playing.
