I was listening to a song by the band 1914 called "Ottomans Rising", it's a concept song on a WW1 related album about the Ottoman Turks.

This made me realize that I don't know any more fully fleshed out versions of this concept, ergo, trying to create a musical atmosphere mixed with historical concepts about various historical happenings in Central Asia and the Middle East. I love historical concept albums, and would love to find something more fleshed out to scratch this itch. Open to all genres of metal, as long as the musicianship is halfway decent.

Keep an eye out for the new Aeternam coming out later this year; concept album about the Byzantine Empire. Killer band as well.
