Ok, add Gama Bomb to my previous list. "Citizen Brain" is fucking addictive, I've been listening to it steadily for a couple of days now and it's absolutely amazing.

I'm looking for thrash metal with a similar sound to Sodom's agent orange album. By that I mean, fast tempo songs with a nice intro, and with a kickass middle part full of awesome headbanging style riffs. Like in the song Tired and Red, and the whole album as a whole. So, looking for albums that sound similar to Agent Orange. I tried a few other Sodom albums like Obsessd by Cruelty but they didn't sound like Agent Orange

Try Torture's Storm Alert. Most songs have a kickass riff-riff-riff section in the middle.

Check out Grinder. I've heard most of their albums resembles that of Agent Orange. Assorted Heap's first album might do if you want catchy, aggressive riffs.

I've been recently looking for thrash bands like toxiks world circus album. I think its mostly the vocals, I just really love that style of vocals and it seems to go especially well with thrash. I know a few other bands that are similar, Flotsam and Jetsam, Watchtower, Artillery (to some extent) but none of those are all that similar. I also know about Forbidden, but for some reason I just don't enjoy them all that much. So if their are any other thrash bands that play a similar style with the same shrieky vocals (the more important part) I would be greatly appreciative.

I haven't listened to them recently but I believe Realm are very similar to Toxik. I know they always get mentioned hand in hand.

for technical thrash
you can try Mekong Delta early LPs, Wolf Spider, Arcane.

Along with the ones mentioned for Toxik like bands try out Tyrants Reign. Vocals are quite shrieky.

So I recently listened to Skeletonwitch (yeah i know, modern) but the way they maintained melody throughout their albums was pretty awesome.

Anyone have recommendations of thrash, any kind (black, death, speed, etc.) that has considerable melody while still being very, for a lack of better words, thrashy?

Thanks in advance.

Try Lazarus A.D. (Till recently was just Lazarus). They are melodic thrash and just got signed to Metal blade.

Artillery, particularly the By Inheritance album. Paradox (Ger) might also be what you're looking for, even though they're not pure thrash. Their first album is still thrashier than many "actual" thrash albums.

S.D.I.'s Signs of the Wicked is simply one of the thrashiest melody-driven albums ever. Imagine if Blind Guardian/Helloween decided to make a thrash album back in the day.

Can anyone recommand me thrash metal (perhaps death metal) similar to To mega therion by Celtic frost? i doubt i'll find anything similar though since i'm sure that they're not too many clones of that album, vocals must be raspy but not sounding too brutal, lyrics in english and i don't mind production (Very important, i'm NOT looking for anything similar to Hellhammer, please keep that in mind when you recommand me something.)

Thanks in advance!

Yes definitely Obituary's Cause of Death, but you might have listened to that one already.

I guess you could try Evile. They're influenced by many famous Thrash Bands like the ones you said. They only have one CD but it's great. The title is "Enter the Grave"

Anyone know of any bands like Artillery?

By Inheritance, or B.A.C.K.
They don't have to be as good (that would be amazing though) just a band with a similar style. Thanks dude.

By Inheritance is one of a kind from my knowledge. Great album. I guess you could try other technical thrash albums that utlize falettos. Realm, Target, and Toxik are all worth looking into.

If you want something with many quirky riff changes and heavily influenced by classical melodies then check out Mekong Delta - Dances of Death.

Well, I'm a huge fan of thrash, but it gets even better when it has somewhat of extreme vocals and a black-ish atmosphere, so I would like recommendations on thrash/black stuff like Nocturnal Breed , Desaster and so on. They don't have to sound like those bands, just similar to this style. Thanks in advance.

I've recently been hearing Mortal Sin and Ulysses Syren.
Man those are some amazing thrash!

On a side note can any of you reccomend some thrash like Holy Terror?

I think Heathen's Victims of Deceptions is kind of similar. The song structures, the use of melody, the "epic" feeling... Both albums also have a a song or two that could be called a "ballad". Of course Heathen's style is different to Artillery's, but I'd still recommend at least checking that album out.
