Sorry if this doesn't belong here, but does anyone know this logo? I got this patch with a tape I ordered from a Canadian dude a few months ago. I can't seem to decipher it and the dude I ordered from didn't know what it was either. It's been driving me a little crazy

I can make out the name Chainsaw To The Face, but it's not their current logo. Could be an older one?

That is a Chainsaw to the Face patch! You can see that logo on the splits with Spoonful of Vicodin and Shotgun Facelift

Not to toot our own horn but my band Hallucination Realized is single foot only. I feel like we are pretty fast. Also check out some fastcore/pv bands like Bruised Ego, Hummingbird of Death and Sidetracked. Usually when you are dealing with more "punk" styles of grind and pv you have the single foot blasts.

It's not out officially but it's likely that someone has a leak or early versions of the songs. I'm not sure, I can't find it. It's out on the 17 or 16 for pre orders and on the 18 for everybody else.

Just heard this
Shit! I'm Alive?
The name is obviously a play on Fuck I'm Dead.
It does have a lot in common with FID and it sounds great!!!
I'm definitely looking for some releases from them.

Not straight up Grind, but however you categorize them their creativity is unparalleled and their sound is distinctive (FoH).

New Full of Hell split with Intensive Care.

ohfuck, your band's split with Exposed as Rot is freaking sick.

Did anyone mention Viscera Infest (Japan) yet? Absolutely ridiculous... Also worth checking out are Tolerance (Finland), Disease (Seattle), Soil of Ignorance (Canada), Mankind's Devastation (USA), Phobe (Canada), Festering Wounds (Texas)... all of these have bandcamps (except for Mankind's Devastation and Viscera Infest), but I'm too tired right now to post them. Btw if anyone's interested in some "noisecore" or powerviolence bands worth listening to, I can throw some really sick ones out there... and I'll put up links for them.

Thank you! Exposed as Rot are just so good and good friends and their side is just so good. Viscera Infest are ridiculous and I am jealous of everyone getting to see them, the Dayton show had such a ridiculous line up.

Also Tolerance is sick and them and Disease among others are playing Anti Music Fest 4 and if you like sick as fuck grindcore bands you should go cause it was amazing last year.

That's because it is - they're just a collection of demos. There's only one song on there that's particularly notable, due it having a ridiculous breakdown. Their full-length is a lot better. It's much more cohesive and showed growth. I liked it enough to buy it, so... there's that going for it... haha

Does anyone know of any deathgrind bands similar to the following?
https://cryptivore.bandcamp.com/album/unseen-divinity

I'm not too familiar with grind bands like this outside big names like Terrorizer.

Cakewet, Pulmonary Fibrosis and Stoma are similar to SCD and have plenty of material to check out.

Incinerated just dropped their sides for two upcoming splits with Landfill from Ohio and Deterioration (the best grind band going). Also Deterioration have a new song from their split with Meth Leppard up. I was able to hear the whole thing and it's their best material yet.

Incinerated
Deterioration

Thanks for the recommendations! I’m guessing the bands are a blast to see live, but I have a tough time getting past the lo fi production for at home listening.

I like it when grind sounds HUGE. Wormrot’s latest is an example of that.

I agree I used to be more into the more "mid-fi"/lofi sound, didn't care if it was polished or clean or hard to hear parts BUT now I am more into a more cleaner sound. The new Wormrot sounds awesome in every department. Goregrind is all about sounding nasty so it's hard to find cleaner sounding bands within that genre but they are super fun live.

Excuse the necromancy, but this thread doesn't deserve to be buried.

I came here to say: Fluids. One of the best bands I've heard in a long while. Just consistently crushing gore-based deathgrind that almost comes across as industrial at times. Fantastic.

Exploitative Practices (2019)

Ignorance Exalted (2020)

Little Village (pretty much every split and single to date)

just spun
https://youtu.be/eWBxRYUNy9c

its p killer deathgrind also its quite obvious that half of Mortiferum is in this band. Its not doom/deathgrind but it does have a bit of a Finndeath feel to it.
