I'm not all that familiar with blackened death but I somehow got my hands on this demo:
http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=175259

It has a very prog/tech feeling to it. I would like to hear similar bands.

Edit: I uploaded the demo on Youtube. Maybe it'll help you guys understand what I'm looking for:

well, if you can get past the fact that the members are christian, Drottnar. It's not very apparent, because it is more incedental than anything else. But if you can get past that, it is some of the best damn tech black you'll ever hear.

OTARGOS

killer progressive black metal with themes of quantum physics! kinetic zero is their best work IMO.

I honestly do not care what their religious beliefs are. I don't know why so many people reject bands based on their religion.

Oh yeah! I've heard Otargos. Completely fell in love. I'm trying to get Kinetic Zero but over here, it's a bit hard to get your hands on metal albums.

good, because I think you will enjoy them. Though for some, their music can be kinda challenging. But there is no doubt they are a very original band, even within BM as a whole.

Yes, perfect post because I was wondering about technical black stuff myself. I'm loving Augury and Drottnar. Not really feeling Hidden in the Fog.

Why hasn't Arsis been mentioned? They are definately technical, and have a very blackened edge to the music.

Maddening Disdain

Check out A Celebration of Guilt, don't really bother with the other albums.
