You see I'm a big fan of the later Sentenced, Paradise Lost , Charon and especially Katatonia, which is my fav.I hate vocal switching so i don't like gothic a lot but these former doom metal bands who have clean vocals and depressive music are really my thing.I enjoy in every moment I listen to them and I would like to find something that is similar to them.
So like , basically I'm just looking for a band that is like the new Katatonia.Clean vocals, some depressive lyrics, good riffs and stuff like that. I am sure there is something like that out there, so could you please reccomend me something ?

I don't know if it will suit your needs, but try the most recent Celtic Frost album, Monotheist.

Probably the same place that spawned AIDS and Dani Filth.

If you like Katatonia, you could like Rapture from Finland http://www.myspace.com/rapturefin they sound pretty much like Katatonia, except cause there's some growls from time to time.

ALSO for Sentenced like music, you could try "For my Pain" or "Darkseed".

I second the Funeral recommendation, but also give From These Wounds a try, it's probably my favorite Funeral album.
