Yup, these two are very similar but both amazing in their own right. I would love to find some more bands sounding similar or sharing traits with either of the two. "Wanderlust" by Baroness is a great example of what I'm looking for.

I might check out The Ocean, a sweet sludgy band based out of berlin. They even have some sweet backing atmosphere and I think they will be right up your alley.
