I generally fast paced vocals, drumming and riffage with good production quality of the new millenium. Vocals not very specific, but nothing along the lines of brutal death metal vocals or anything like Barnes on Tomb of The Mutilated.

Death metal similar to that of "The Time To Kill Is Now" by Cannibal Corpse (From the album Kill). No shit like JFAC, Through The Eyes of The Dead, etc either.

Have you listened to Misery Index? They're fairly fast paced with the more higher pitched "classic" style of death metal vocals. It has ex-members of Dying Fetus, so just picture that without the slam elements.

I immediately think of Misericordiam's UATCOH EP when I think of "fast paced death metal"
