I've been listening to Overkill a lot lately, and honestly I love Bobby Blitz's voice. Something about it is so great, it blends with the music so well, and yet has an edgy quality about it. The speed, range and pitch of his voice are just all so great in my opinion.

I'm looking for more music with vocalists who sound like Bobby Blitz. Preferably in the Thrash, Groove and MeloDeath genres. But anything you guys feel fits with the request, recommend away.

Thanks in advanced.

That's the first thing that popped into my head. A mighty second here.

Also, am I the only person that tries to link a youtube vid or myspace to every recommendation?

I reviewed Aggression's album and gave it a really high score. Don't think it posted yet. From what I have been hearing is that National Suicide's album this year is a huge winner as well.

Review acceptance seems to have been slow lately. I really like Moshpirit so far though, although I have a strange feeling that the album won't stick with me very long. I've been singing the chorus to the title track for a few days straight though.

Just came across again the 80s thrash band, Wrath. Can't forget them.

By that extension, you could try out Stygian, as it shares Gary Golwitzer on vocals. I prefer Wrath, but Stygian is solid enough to be at least worth a try. Planetary Destruction is pretty readily available.

EDIT: I should probably mention that he doesn't really wail or use his high register in Stygian, but it's the same vocalist nonetheless. For the Blitz request I'd say stick with Wrath. Nothing to Fear is a wicked album.

EDIT II: Now that I think about it, Toxik's first album may satisfy your Blitz soundalike needs. He's not a dead ringer, but he can sound like a higher version of Blitz at times. More the Under the Influence/Years of Decay era Blitz, as it's not totally clean like the early days, it has that small roughness to it, but it's a high pitched cackle like Blitz has sometimes, so check 'em out. If not for the vocals, then for the music because Toxik are fucking awesome.

I know he's pretty unique, I'm just seeing if there is anything close to his sound.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I know Toxik and Exodus already, currently checking out the rest!
