die Zeit spielt den Wunden zu by JAHRESRINGE is very special album to me. I love that calm, natural and quite positive atmosphere it has. I found out that it is only album of such a kind in my collection. I have a lot of black metal but no something like this - slower, calm, relaxing...
I play it mainly as a background music while reading.

So gimme some recommendations.

BTW There was some good, fitting bm album once in some thread, but all I remember is the cover art from youtube clip, which was I believe completely brown with various shades of brown, maybe some painted ancient vessel or something like that.

Here's a band called Gnome.

Lurker of Chalice is another one. Pretty chill, reverbed out. A lot of calm sections, though I wouldn't call it positive.

Burzum's Filosofem, but based off your OP I'm sure you have it already. Drudkh, also.

The guy from Jahresringe has another project called "Licht- und Schattensaiten", I can't tell if this is only calm black metal and the albums mostly get terrible ratings from reviewers, but check it out for yourself: http://www.myspace.com/lichtundschattensaiten

Fen and Gallowbraid can be mentioned here, too. Or Ikuinen Kaamos' "The Forlorn", though all are not pure black metal.

I once was recommended Bak de Syv Fjell by a friend, they are rather calm, but their releases are probably not easy to get.

Good request btw., will check out the recommendations here, too.
