I'm trying to broden my horizon as i usually listen to 80's metal and everything connected to that era. Now because i"m at home in sick leave, i promised my girlfriend i would help her with some thing she needs to do at her work. ANd it's BORING, lol. Now browsing the internet i stumbled upon some bands and i want to see/hear more of them.

1) Bands like Chthonic. I already know the obvious ones, but i'm looking for bands that, just like Chthonic use native instruments, and not just in one or two songs.

2) Eerie sounding Ambient like Elend. They have songs, allthough the music is very calm and soothing, the songs still sends chills down my spine, due to the atmosphere, and the sounds and effects they use.

3) And because the "homework" is so friggin boring i need more neo-classical music, bands like Dark Santuary, Autumn tears, Die verbannten Kinder Eva's. If possible the French bands, cause i believe French is the best language for music like this.

4)Anyone knows the band Liv Moon? Is Japanese Symphonic Power metal without the power 90% of the time, this video is somewhat the heaviest song they have. Looking for more bands in the same vein, especially voice-wise. NOT THE GOTHICS !!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5GnQVW1UTc Don't care if it's Japanese, or chinese or Spanish or whatever :D. Someone mentioned at the video that it was like Crimson Glory with Opera Voice. Maybe that's indeed the best description, allthough the band is much softer most of the time.
