Added. - ((Blindsight)) – Wrexham metal band (formed 2001), feat; Dave Williams (voc), Daniel Dawson (gtr), Phill Hetfield (gtr), Ben Burke (drms), James Ayling (bass). Had tracks played on Total Rock Radio and good reviews in Kerrang! Dave left the band Jun08

Darkside – Caernarfon based metal band – late 80’s – present? Orig line-up feat; Glyn (voc), Bryn Moore (gtr -

https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... rry/136404 ) and Andrew Gregson (drms). Rumour has it they used to open their set with the theme from Star Wars. This line-up rec one demo but they had a lot of arguments (they came to blows at one point) and split soon afterwards. Declan and Ian joined Dirge, Bryn Moore went on to play for Red and Hatework. Andrew and Glyn joined Ysoriant. Ian Cadmore resurrected the band name a couple of years later with a completely different line-up incl Iolo Jones (drummer for DFA) and did a small tour. John Bowden (gtr) (also Kobe) – now a soundman at Bangor SU, joined the band for a bit. Ian was last seen recording under the Darkside name, but he hasn’t played live in a long time

FOAD – Heavy metal band from Colwyn Bay (1989), feat; Nic Allen (voc,gtr), JJ (bass), Paul Puke (drms). Formerly called NRG until vocalist Neil Crud departed. Did audition Nick Holden as singer but to no avail. Played 2 gigs, one supported Boff Frank Boff at the Llangernyw Community Centre.
Freeloader – metal band (formed 1997), feat; Martin Care (voc), Mark Wiltshire (gtr), David Malpas (bass), Tim Bird (drms). A stream of members eventually settled with Mike Chandler (bass) and Richard Morris (gtr) as members and they (with Martin, Tim and Mark) released "Time Has Come" in 2003.

Hole In The Sky – Menai Bridge metal band (formed 2003) orig called Suffer, then called Violated, feat; Jay Roberts (voc,gtr) (also of Carbon Vein), Dan Walne (gtr) (later First To Die), Jay C (bass), Mitch (drms) (ex On Hold, Caezium). Orig had Daniel Garrod (drms) (ex Caezium, now Emo on Sunday) with Mitch on bass. Played MASE.

Mortified Remains – Kidwelly death metal band (formed 2005), feat; Jason Gower (voc,gtr), Mark Jenkins (gtr), Jake Moreton (bass), Callum Rivers (drms).
Murder Scene Love Affair – Blaenau Ffestiniog metal band (c2006), feat; Rikki Chaps (voc), Ricky Hall (gtr), Iwan Bryn (bass), Tom Richards (drms). Prev called Our Recent Deceased. Debut EP ‘Choke & Die’. Members have prev played in Girl Fell Dead, TSG, Hecate
Oblivion – Llanrwst thrash metal band (c1989) feat; Dominic Pitcher (voc) (ex Dinistro y Dinuwedd) (died in 90s age 22), David Childs (gtr), Chris Manning (gtr), Mark Halford (bass), Peter Manning (drums) played a few times under the guise of Yr Angof so they could get some Welsh only gigs such as Corwen Rock where they started a bit of trouble by starting the set off in English and carrying on until the PA was switched off and having to make a back door exit to save getting killed.
Octane – Ruthin metal band (formed 2002), feat; Joe Lewis (bass), Rob Harness (gtr), Tom Poxton (gtr), Tom Mooney (voc), Kieran Elsdon (drms) (son of Bomb Disneyland‘s Mark Cooper). Split Dec04 to form Hell Grave.
Petrol Monkey – Aberystwyth metal band formed 2001, feat; Alexander Berger (voc,gtr) (ex Duty Paid, Cryptic Kicker 5), Dave Smith (bass), Jonathan Holloway (gtr), Adam Murphy (drms) (ex Mediahype). Rel EP (2002) feat track Safety Pins for Stitches.
Pilgrim Fire – metal band (formed 6.10.03), feat; Darren Hughes (voc), Tommy Jones-Williams (gtr), Caine Jones-Williams (drms), Chris Parry (gtr), Sean Parry (drms). Took their name from a song their fathers’ band (Tiger Tiger) had.
Point of Contact – Wrexham metal band (formed Apr03), feat; Dav Williams (voc), John Willmott (gtr), Krae (bass), Craig Jones (drms). Rel demo ‘Moulded Nation’.
Powers Of Pain – Penycae 5-pc metal band (early 90s), feat; Bill Hughes.
Rotten Plazma – A ‘Juggernaut-like’ force of Pure Aggression, Progressive Thrash Metal, Psychedelic, Industrial & Alternative Formation Elements band from Rhyl, feat; Mono (voc,bass), Dreas (drms), Ben (gtr), Joe (gtr). Debut gig at Pencore, Penmaenmawr (16.06.12)

https://myspace.com/toliverantYour Ancestors – Deeside metal band (Jan06 – 16.10.06), feat; Jose Sherwood (gtr), Josh Bithell (drms), Paul Collins (voc,gtr), Callum Nichols (bass), Aled Davies (keys). Paul left and Aled was sacked in Feb06. Formed as SlipStream then changed name to Engage (Mar06) and Alex Marland auditioned for vocals until Paul rejoined and left again within weeks, with Alex following. Jose took over vocals and by May06 they were called Your Ancestors. Callum then left, replaced by Jacob Makriel. Had rehearsal problems due to neighbours and the council complaining about the noise. Rel LP ‘Crazy Killer’
