Needs research. - Electrorizon
(pre-Nyne band: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ny ... iscography )
Location: Athens, Attica, Greece
Genre: Avant-garde/Atmospheric Black Metal (?) - Discogs description says comparable to Limbonic Art.
Discography: "Constellation Fear" CD-R demo (year unknown, early 2000s(?))
Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/release/1401469 ... ation-Fear

Needs research. - List of Wisconsin, US metal bands
- a list that was compiled in 2020, with Bandcamp/Facebook/Soundcloud, etc links. Would probably be worth looking through to see if we're missing any.
https://adrenaline-armory.com/resources/bands/
- found a band that can be added almost immediately. This should definitely be given a look. Links are current, since it was put together so recently. Genres are listed, though not accurately. The page continues to be updated and added to.

Needs research. - A.M.F.
Location:Hungary

I'm posting this here mostly because I have not listened to the albums in question, and I don't have the time to dive into it right away.

In the early 2000's, the guys in RAC group Archívum released a few albums under different band names, one of which was A.M.F., or Arbeit Macht Frei:

-Nem én vagyok extrém (MC, 2000)
-Mindent a gyözelemért! (CD, 2002)

Since they were under a different name, those two albums are not listed on the Archive. However, earlier this year, BH Records publishd re-issues of both of these albums under the Archívum name. A.M.F. does not appear blacklisted, so I'm unsure if these albums have ever been evaluated or not, since they come from a predominently RAC group, but if anyone has the time to download some tracks and check, this can either be quickly added or quickly blacklisted.

Nem én vagyok extrém:
-Download
-Discogs ink for both original pressings and re-issue with name change

Mindent a gyözelemért!:
-Download
-Discogs

Don't know if it helps, but it appears that vkgy have found another couple of demo tapes for Zeä~Nä from 1993/94 since this was first considered:

https://vk.gy/releases/zea-na/

One of them (https://vk.gy/releases/zea-na/25891/zea-na/) features this song from YouTube: https://youtu.be/YureHbq4tJ4

Needs research. - String Eyes

Listed genre: Heavy metal

Location: Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, Germany

Known members: Bernd Kaufholz, Ingo Millek, Bernhard Zimkowsky, Thomas Rettke, Bernd Manthey

Known discography: Night Mare Over You (unknown year, possibly 1981 or sometime between 1978-1982)

Pre Steeltower, Carrion, and Heavens Gate. Per the Steeltower page, the band released a 7" record called Night Mare Over You. However, according to Discogs, the record was just a private press. Despite this, they did release it as a cassette, and 1000 copies were made. I need either samples or a zine describing them as being metal. It would also be nice to confirm what year it was released. (Btw, if this was posted about before, I apologize, I couldn't find it when searching).

Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/artist/6613538-String-Eyes
Post about the release with pictures of the record: https://wolfsburgsfinest.wordpress.com/ ... teeltower/

Needs research. - Black Maze
Location: Finland
Genre: Black Metal
Discography: Demo '93 (track listing: Pavor Nocturnus/ Blood Red Fullmoon)
- stumbled across this on YouTube. No other info seems to be available online.

Needs research. - Subway Force
Location: Italy
Genre: Heavy Metal
Band members: https://www.discogs.com/artist/2383604-Subway-Force
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ldi/253868
- contributed the (incredible) song "Rainbow Fire" to the "Metal Attack" compilation (1987). Unfortunately there are 7 bands on that comp. Wondering if they ever recorded anything else, or released it separately so that they can be added to the site.

Needs research. - God
Location: UK
Genre: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock
Discography: "Believe" CD / picture disc (1993, 6 songs - contains the song "Temple of the Kings")
- could use more samples. One song on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtMc8xcIKgk
- note: God (UK), an unrelated band is blacklisted currently (industrial/experimental). If adding this band, just post a note here or in the appeals forum for it to temporarily be able to be submitted.

Needs research. - Labeled Victims
Location: United States
- this had been on the site, added by emperor_zola in March 2007. The list of band members since version 1 of the site indicates that the listing belongs to this hardcore band:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/5503533-Labeled-Victims
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FOu_RqCagA

There was a release (only one) and photo listed on their M.A. page, which I haven't been able to confirm belongs to the California hardcore band linked above, so this post is in search of more information about a possible other Labeled Victims band from the US, with a demo from an unknown year and format, with this track listing: 1. Mass Hysteria, 2. Twisted Cross, 3. Innocent Victim, 4. Celtic Myth. Photo that was on the page: https://imgur.com/a/52nHtps
- I requested emperor_zola's attention 3 weeks ago, and it seems best now to move the band to this thread.

(note to mods: on the deleted band page, you'll see a note that I added to the page 3 weeks ago: "Not to be confused with the punk/hardcore band by the same name, from San Diego, California, that released a self-titled demo in 1988 (repressed under the title "Confidential"), which included Jon Pebsworth (Buck-O-Nine) and Pat Kim (Unwritten Law)." Though I was unable to confirm that it is, in fact a different band, the note was added temporarily to separate the listing from the hardcore band Labeled Victims.)

3 downloadable V/A compilations, Ukraine bands:
https://ru-tape.livejournal.com/1769709.html
- the first in the series is completed/updated on the site. Might be worth looking through volumes 2 and 3 (though listed styles according to Discogs don't include metal. That was primarily what part 1 in this comp series contained.)

Bands that aren't on the site yet from the late '90s Italian compilation series "Into the Underground" (Whiplash Productions) - 4 volumes. All are from Italy. None are blacklisted - have checked. Volume 1: https://www.discogs.com/release/1699167 ... ound-Vol-1

(note on M.A. page of another Italian band by this name says "Not to be confused with the band from Bari by the same name, who released the 3-song "Violenza Suburbana" CD on Whiplash Productions in 1996." Can be added with proof of the release of that 3-song CD)

Already listed under slightly changed name, Gods of Sadness. - God of Sadness

G One:
Regarding Artificial Tears, their song "Bismillah" is on the "Into the Underground 3" compilation CD (Whiplash Productions), and here is the cover art and record label of their album "True" (2000):
https://www.discogs.com/release/1279511 ... Tears-True
As stated in the post above, you could try to contact Mariano Fontaine ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ine/129885 ), the person who compiled the "Into the Underground" series, and feel free to ask about or look into any of the above bands that are from the same set of compilations.
Also, I wonder if the Nemesis song on vol. 3, "Looking Beyond", belongs to the Turin band that you posted about in here?

I wasn't able to find anymore information about this band, but it seems like it isn't as unknown as it looks like. Maybe we could unearth something.

I couldn't find any working downloads on the usual NSBM blogs, but I did find this page, which has two of the three songs availble for streaming, and possible downloads for those brave enough to try. It's garbage, but it's fairly straight forward bedroom black metal.

Hello, thanks for the research you've made! I guess it's acceptable black metal, for sure, the thing is that the first song is a cover and still, there's no effective proof of the digital release of that demo. Unless Discogs is considered a valid source, as the releases there are usually submitted by other users?

Needs research. - Black Diamond
Genre: Rock (?), Metal (?)
Location: Detroit, Michigan, US
Band members: https://web.archive.org/web/20121011212 ... ond_1.html
Discography: While their first EP from 1988 contains exclusively 10th-rate rock n' roll with no bite, a report came in suggesting that we add this recently-deleted band to research and see if the 1990 demo can be found for samples (confirmed that it's the same band - some members had gone by nicknames on their first EP). Posting this here just in case, but hopes are very low that they'll ever get back onto the site. Song titles sound really on the glam side, and can't imagine this being worth pursuing much.

Nice find, G One. They're definitely the same band - they made that slight change to their name after a couple of compilation appearances. I updated their page. Here was their original logo, when the name was 'singular' - https://imgur.com/a/ixPKTAG
Hopefully Mariano can offer you audio, or further information about some of those other bands.

A few items from the research list arrived today, but have more of a rock sound (some are pretty good, though) - Taurus (uk), Urban Clearway, Trilogy (US), Sympathy. Ashes to Ashes (MI, US) also got here, and it is fairly borderline between rock and metal. I've asked Azmodes for an additional opinion now that all 4 songs can be heard.
