Needs research. - 58ª Divisione
Location: Italy
Listed genre: Black Metal
Discography: La compagnia della morte (2009; digital demo)

NS band which released only one demo in 2009. It was available as a digital download from the band, but again, the original upload appears to have been lost to time. Maybe someone can help, or knows any Italian resources from that time that might be of assistance?

https://rac-forum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22485 - locked DL.

Location: Philadelphia/New Jersey/Delaware, US
Genre: Melodic Heavy Metal
- "Armed and Dangerous" song on YouTube (band name misspelled here) -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2ZlkAUDknE
https://www.facebook.com/RoughDymondBand/ (haven't really looked around on here much - release might be easy to find. Since the tape at YouTube isn't pro-printed and the track listing isn't provided, more info should be gathered prior to submitting.

Needs research. - Source of Steel
Location: Magnolia, Texas, US
Genre: Heavy/Power Metal
Band member: Morgan Hicks
https://soundcloud.com/user-348114453
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCieWoA ... A/featured
- Good stuff here. There are 4 downloadable songs on SoundCloud, but all with the same artwork and not grouped together as a release. More songs are able to be streamed on YouTube. One to check back on later.

Needs research. - Sinner
Location: Wirral/ UK
Listed genre: NWOBHM
Discography: Sinner (demo, recorded on stero cassette and later pressed to vinyl - 100 copies and sold as Sinner Raise Hell)

There is no digital version to upload

http://link2wales.co.uk/liverpool-n-z/liverpool-s/
(Spooky: edit-adding info from that site to the post) - "Craig McDonald (voc, gtr) (later Stormbringer, Switch, Glassback, Havana Clue), Phil ‘Pipe’ Jones (bass), Pete Askey (drms). Orig bassist John Bruce left after debut gig. Played the usual Wirral venues, Stairways, the Grand, The Dale etc. Early members Don Major (bass), Gary Whitby (gtr) never gigged and Paul Naeson (gtr) (of Wargasm, Rock Weiller) jammed many times but was never in the band".

Needs research. - Shit Hammer
Location: Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada
Listed genre: Black Metal
Band members: Mark "Shithammer" Gaudet (https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Shithammer/4873)
Discography: Mars Creation / Shit Hammer (2016, self-released; limited split CD-R) (https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/M ... er/1058182)
Also of interest, though not a split per se: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/M ... vil/790595

Had a hasty submission of this rejected, as it only shows one CD of the release in the video. In any case, this should be available from the artist directly, like all of his other output, but more conclusive proof is needed.

Needs research. - Exxe
Location: San Francisco, California, US
Genre: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock (similar to early '80s Riot)
Band members: Mark Tate (vocals - went on to Vicious Rumors), Henry Hewitt (guitars - early Griffin member), Michael Whittington
- "Look into the Light" song on 1981 "U.S. Metal 1 (Unsung Guitar Heroes)" compilation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEMkwfO5wA4
- in YouTube comments, when former member Michael was asked if he has any demo stuff left: "I have some stuff that Mark downloaded onto a cd format. Mostly rehearsals and a couple of demos ie Record Plant sessions, Most of it pretty rough sounding. I have some old cassettes that I recorded at gigs as well."
Band photo w/ logo: https://imgur.com/a/uI8xynl
https://www.discogs.com/release/2926120 ... tar-Heroes (compilation LP)
- would be great to find out more details about and hear the demos.

Needs research. - FireMass
Location: Sweden
Genre: Heavy/Power Metal
- 3 songs are on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/user/inmoderate ... y=firemass

https://bravewords.com/news/crystallion ... meeting-iv
email address of Sinan that was provided in the YouTube videos (uploaded a decade ago, so maybe the email is no longer valid, but you never know) - sinanguezel@msn.com

Needs research. - Thrasher

Genre: Thrash/Speed Metal
Band members: Andy Sussman (guitars), Steve Williams (bass), R.C. Williams (drums), and Mike Rogers (vocals)

‘The Lane’ can be removed from the main list as the demo was posted to YouTube and it’s been added now.

You may remove Many Worlds from the main research list for I've found their songs and they sound like metallic hardcore and nu-metal.

Needs research. - Demon Axe (United States)
Most likely from Kingman, Arizona. It seems like they played death metal, based on this live recording I found on YouTube. Band featured Dustin Ross and Danny Aguirre, and was active in the early-to-mid 2000s. Recorded and released a demo EP.

Needs research. - Krawlspace (United States)
From Kingman, Arizona. Probably recorded a demo or something similar based on what's (not) available on their Myspace. There's also this video of the band covering Metallica in 2011.

Found a list of early Kansai region (Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo, Shiga and Mie Prefectures) Death/Thrash bands, with photos of their demos. Just noticed The Equinox is an as yet unlisted later name of Beleth, who are already listed. Still a valid enquiry, as they have at least one release under the later name though.

Also Z:Slaughter are also known as Z-Slaughter and there a photo at vkgy here:

Relatively to this, only to clarify, laulu and rummut aren't projects of those musicians, but their roles, in this case, laulu means vocals and rummut, drums, in Finnish.

- from that bio (which some of the years of are inaccurate, such as the solo album being from 2000 (recorded '94, released on tape '96), the bands Millenium, Death Incision, and Panzerfaust - sounds like not the one on M.A. currently - could also be looked into for potential addition.

A few of the members play/played in this band: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ra ... 3540268344
- their Facebook page mentions getting "more CDs soon" in one post. It seems that they've done at least one CD, but couldn't easily find details. Could just be a matter of messaging them to find out (which I just did). The music is definitely metal.

These are metal, but since it's just unmarked CD-Rs with shoddy printed covers and no indication as to wider distribution, I'd hold off on adding these until we have more info about that. Psykodra has an included promo sheet that suggests that the CD was sent to a zine for a review; it's entirely possible that these were handed out to people as well, but nothing definitive.

The list of bands with recordings / releases under a significantly different name than they are listed as on the site continues to grow. It could be worth checking out from time to time, for those interested in adding new bands. If any aren't worth keeping on that list, just send a message or post and I'll cross them off:

Needs research. - Dischord
Genre: Deathcore
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Released an EP called "Guillotine"
Tracklist:
1. Show Them Suffering
2. Mechanisms of Global Tyranny
3. Myopia
4. Guillotine
https://www.facebook.com/Dischordoffici ... 5994043512

Only sample I could find:
https://dischorddm.bandcamp.com/

Needs a few more samples, ideally the full thing. Download link is dead, sadly

Needs research. - Divine Demon
Genre: Death Metal?
Location: Santiago, Chile

Only band member:
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... lez/958575

Released the EP "Sintética" on their blog in 2014. (Claims to have released it in 2013, but no proof for that)
Tracklist:
01. Oxígeno
02. My Burning Soul
03. Manifiesto De Individualidad
04. Sintética
05. Technocult
06. Frozen Time
07. Technocult (Demo version)
http://mcmxci-music.blogspot.com/2014/1 ... -2013.html

There's also an earlier demo from 2011 for which I have a sample, but he only used MIDI instruments and it doesn't sound metal to me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyIKGrd0XYg

He switched to real instruments later on, so the 2013 EP is likely death metal as advertized.
Just need samples from that release since the download link is dead.
