Would be interested to find out if they put out a demo. There was hinting to the possibility that it may have been a pre-Jagged Dagger band (not just this one member), but not verified.

Maybe someone here would know more: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2467393 ... 561053217/

Needs research. - Cruento Durbentia

Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Genre: Black Metal
Years active: 2001- c.2004
Members:
*Scelestus - Vocals, Drums (early)
*Seskavar - guitar
*Skarr - drums
*Chernobog- bass
*and a revolving door of short-term former drummers and bassists

This is the previous band from the anonymous guy behind Krygsmag, listed in this band under the name "Scelestus". I found the band's old Angelfire homepage, and there seems to be a little bit of revisionism between what's actually there, and the brief history Scelestus gives about the band in his Krygsmag bios. While he originally said there were recorded rehearsals with no public release, the homepage mentions at least five recorded songs put up for download, all of which have been lost to time, except for this track uploaded by the Krygsmag YouTube in 2015. It seems like pretty straight forward (low quality) black metal, but not sure if there's enough there to satisfy release/distribution standards. There's also an email listed in one of the news posts for Scelestus, [email protected] so maybe we can track down some songs that way.

Awesome, Paganius - nice finds.

Crossed off Rainmaker - after almost a year, JoeCubbie found their demo on YouTube.

Syphoned also added/crossed off, as they just had their first release.

Needs research. - Sinphony
Location: (Buffalo?), New York, US
Band members: Jimi Voelker ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ker/367716 ), Ken Vendette (guitars, vocals - R.I.P. https://www.facebook.com/kvendette ), Paul Doldan (bass), Mistress Michelle (keyboards), Mistress Mary (violins), Don McCabe (drums).
Discography: There's a tape on eBay right now that might not be official, that includes one of their demo recordings, and the 1992 Monarch demo (with altered track listing), which Voelker also played in during the early '90s - https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Monarch/102735 ). Can't exactly tell if they share some of the same songs, but it looks possibly to be the case. There's just the one common member in both. Probably from the mid-'90s.
eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304611081526?h ... R_ar39TcYA ).

Added. - Turd Perversion
Spoiler: show
Country: USA
Genre: Grindcore
Members: Tyler Gein (everything)
Releases: 9 Inch Poop Shoot (1997 demo, cassette) (Discogs entry)

Another one-off demo from Tyler Gein, the owner of Extreme Scene Records. All of his other projects on the site are metal-leaning grindcore, and I suspect this would be the same, but I cannot find any samples to verify.

Moved to Cuba Metal research list. - Faceless
Spoiler: show
Location: Cuba

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7Bpstxx0pU

In the summer of 2012, the heavy metal band Sed disbanded. That's when two of its members "Carlos A. González and Carlos E. Cepero" decide to form the band Faceless. The musical focus was gothic metal with a sequenced base for bass and keyboards. This is how covers of bands such as Dark Tranquility, In Flames, Tiamat, Paradise Lost, A-ha, Madonna, Lady GaGa were created.
Finally, and after numerous attempts, Carlos A. González leaves the project to focus on others. Faceless then remains the personal project of the other member known by the pseudonym "The Faceless".

Information about the CD:

Akeronta (2013)

01. Akeronta (3:50)
02. The Gates (4:25)
03. Graveyard and Shelter (5:00)
04. Electronic Damnation (3:25)
05. Prophecies (4:15)
06. Possessed (4:30)
07. Innocence Lost (4:20)
08. Melancholy (4:45)
09. Faceless (6:05)
10. Cold October of the Grey Eminence (5:45)

FACELESS is made up of: "The Faceless" Male voices, All instruments.
Guest Musicians: Jessica Chuairey: Female Voice (courtesy the band "Alfa y Omega")
Adrian Díaz: Guitars, Keyboards and Drums.
Recorded and produced by "The Faceless" and Adrian Díaz at "ALT Productions & Faceless" studios during the months of January to August 2013.
Mixed and Mastered by "The Faceless" and Adrian Díaz at "ALT Productions & Faceless" studios in Havana, Cuba.

"Akeronta" was a Doom/Gothic Metal band that emerged in 2002 in Havana. It took that name from a goddess with that name arising from the imagination of its singer "Aurelio". The group offered only one direct show because "Aurelio" decided to leave the band, taking it with him on behalf of it. The concert was held at the "Casa de la Cultura de Arroyo Arenas" in Havana in 2003 and among the songs performed were "The Gates" and "Graveyard and Shelter" presented on this album in their studio version. When "Akeronta" disappeared, the remaining members of the group formed "Folklórica", a band with a musical concept similar to that of its predecessor, although less extreme and more open to the influence of other musical genres. Another important change was the lyrics that were interpreted in English in "Akeronta" and that would then be developed in Spanish. The music of "Folklórica" was reflected in two demos "Sin Esperanzas" (2004) and "Cómplices del Tiempo" (2005) that constitute an important influence on the music of FACELESS. "Folklórica" had some presentations on Cuban television and live promoting its demos and other songs never recorded, as is the case of "Prophecies" that is now presented on this album in its studio version. Unfortunately "Folklórica" dissolves in 2006. The album "Akeronta" is a tribute to the band of the same name as well as its successor. It is also a tribute to the Doom/Gothic Metal bands that emerged in the early and mid-90s in the old continent, especially the lesser-known ones such as the Spanish bands "Golgotha" and "Heaven Shore", making a version of their Theme from the latter. "Cold October of the Gray Eminence" that appears as the closing of this production.
