Sounds like heavy grunge/alternative metal. Not sure, though. Very difficult to listen to... Sucks balls this one.

Sure. I finished going through that Hans Kleines site and have 2 long posts of bands in the research thread that could be worth looking into. Will add these as well. Thanks for all your help with these.

Pretty sure we're all caught up here now, unless someone thinks it would be worth giving Write Zer0 a try in queue.

I'm unsure if a tape was released in the '80s by Talisman. Those 3 songs on SoundCloud each have a different photo for cover art, though, and are downloadable on a former member's SC page, so to me they seem okay to accept as digital singles.

It's your call, Spook, but I wouldn't call those tracks valid singles simply because they're available for download. Others are free to disagree and submit the band.

White Bat doesn't sound metal to me.

^ I've found the Wagner/Dofka/Moore track on Geocities. The band's in the queue under "Wagner / Dofka / Moore". Seems like it was also known as "Wagner", a short lived project that BloodOfChrist had added to all three members of the band (1993-1994).

Done. :)

There's one from the Netherlands as well featured on this 7-way split:

Never released a demo, though. Only these two tracks.

Thanks. That's a shame when bands can't be added because of that technicality. A lot of great bands, like Menace on this compilation could be added if it was decided to bump the number from 6 to 8 - but I guess then it's closer to a compilation, less like a split. https://thecorroseum.org/comps/overtone3.php

True. For what it's worth, I think that a band who has released a song or two on a compilation is, generally speaking, more professional than one that's published two digital singles on their Bandcamp. However, I think these matters have been sufficiently discussed before.

Yeah. Not the kind of band I'm into or would make a judgement call on without the help of other moderators. Have seen bands that seem to me 'less metal' pass before, so figured I'd just drop it in here. Thanks for the help with the other 3, and for checking on it.

To me it sounds like many of those hardcore bands that have metal intros or bridges, but the rest of the music is firmly rooted in hardcore.

Cool. The Abraxas bass player is looking forward to seeing the page. Great mid-'80s US metal gem there (in my opinion).
