That Dazzle seems to be the already listed one from what I gathered. They at least described themselves as "INDUSTRIAL NOISE CORE THRASH" on their old, old homepage:
https://web.archive.org/web/20090831080 ... ofile.html

But wouldn't hurt to have someone who's fluent in Japanese have a look at it.

It's a demo or a single of sorts titled Old Scratch. Could be a CD-R, but I'm not sure.
It's metal: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpqI6_ ... dg0KoMlBHA

Based in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Started 4-5 years ago (so around 1991 I guess?). Started off as a Hard Rock band but then moved into Thrash as a result of multiple changes of members. Key sentence probably: To the overall impression of a Bay Area sound has been added just a taste of a mixture of grunge and death metal, however, it must be said that the consistent momentum and pleasant flow is certainly based on metal. Name is an anime reference, so kinda hard to search for. Can't say I've ever seen a copy.

Dead Line〜Live (promo, cassette, 199?, no tracklist given)

It's listed as a four-piece "Thrash Industrial Noisecore" group. It's possible this is just an undocumented promo tape for this Dazzle from Tokyo, but someone more Japanese fluent will need to confirm that.

The Dazzle already listed began in 1996, according to the old website, which would fit the date of the 'zine. Only problem is they're listed as mainly active in Chiba Prefecture and their address is in Kashiwa City, Chiba. If its the same band they must have relocated to Tokyo but since Kashiwa is all of 40km from central Tokyo its not the biggest move and it seems unlikely two bands with the same name and theme would be around at the same time.

Tape could be this one: http://aduma8.shop-pro.jp/?pid=66025020 but the picture is so bad I can't tell.

Damn! I'll see if I can add it to Discogs (now that we have proof of the release) and then add it to my wantlist. If a seller lists it for an affordable price, I'll pick it up. Is that a good idea? Never added a release on Discogs, though, I must say, but I don't think that's a big deal.

Edit: I've contacted the seller via another ad asking whether it's still available. It wasn't sold back then. Let's see what happens.

According to Shamus (from Age of Horror), the demo recording has never been released and hence there are no copies out there.

It's listed on Discogs now, but only one owner and no real pictures aside from the artwork?

Here's a strange one. This demo that's currently on the French Ancestral's page is apparently by a different band. The guy from the band says they never had a demo by that name, and I'm inclined to believe it's not just a whitewashing attempt. The logo on the tape insert is completely different, and the text seems to indicate that the sole member was "Ögat", which doesn't fit with the other Ancestral either. Could it be this guy? No idea.

I'm leaving the page for that demo up for now to keep the info, but it would be great if we could find enough info to add the other band and move this release over.

As you said, the logo isn't the same, "Ögat" isn't part of the band neither. And here I'm adding that they are not sounding the same at all.
Here's the audio of "Seven path beyond" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mwKU9tqtiY

The Ancestral from "My garden of solitude" sounds more like... well, not really black metal, there are some black metal-ish parts, but I don't know what genre put over this demo. And the Ancestral from "Seven Path beyond" is black/death metal "well played" I would say. So I really do think they aren't the same bands, but idk where does the one of Ögat come from, and I don't know if it's metal enough to be approved on the archives.

Hrm. There's an image of the tape and samples.... this should be good enough to be submitted?
First come, first serve I guess.
+ the demo was added to MA by a former mod, hence trustworthy.

Concerning Access...
Thank you. That's a step in the right direction, but I was wondering if Az listened to the tracks back then when they were streaming, and, if so, what his verdict was. In other words, is the validity of the release the only thing at stake here? Or do we need to find the songs again seeing that myspace is down?

Regarding Absinthe Betrayed:

I might have exhausted all of my options at this point; Shamus, Korno, Tom, and Rhayne don't have the demo. Zak and Jake never answered, and I couldn't get in contact with Travis. I can assure you that if there are any copies left of that demo, they must be in some dusty box of some fat, 40-year old Australian metal collector from Barossa Valley, never to be seen or heard of again. Fuck.

I didn't read the previous message, and yes, Rhayne has confirmed that the demo recording was never released.

Regarding 36 Hours:

I found a song, but it's rap, no metal at all there, not even rock. It's apparently from their last release before disbanding, so they might have shifted genres; if any of their previous releases sound like this, then we can confirm they're not metal.

EDIT: Found more in the web archive, and they are in fact metal (apparently). I might add the band soon.

One more band I have found while reading through old MetalPage reviews archived on Corroseum (http://thecorroseum.org/rev/apathy-out-the-window.html).

This one is described as "playing a really interesting Crossover style while basically being a Metal band but several alternative/punky influences can be found on "Out the window" too". I am interested in how significant those "alternative/punky influences" are, but couldn't find any samples.

Two copies for sale in the US. Just in case someone wants to grab a copy. They ain't too expensive. Shipping it to Germany probably would though.

Added. - Hassmütz
Spoiler: show
Months ago I was joking to Azmodes that after Böhse Onkelz and Troopers I could end up adding Hassmütz, too, because they have two tracks from their album up on Youtube and play a similar style. Since then I've been trying for months to get their damn album, ended up in the Soulseek wishlist for half that time, since then I found two people sharing it, but they are never online. I'm not sure anymore that I can get the damn thing, and I don't have money to spend on an album I don't want at the moment. So I'll put it here: Does anybody have the album "Tausend echte Feinde" by Hassmütz, knows someone who has it, or does anybody of the people who seem to purchase albums just for adding a band to M-A have an interest on buying it somewhere?

As I said, their style is similar to Böhse Onkelz and Troopers and could go either way based on the two tracks on Youtube, but without the full album there's no way of knowing if it's a total rock band with a few metallic moments here and there, or if their style is loaded with metal riffs.

-edit- Three tracks, actually:

This one is described as "playing a really interesting Crossover style while basically being a Metal band but several alternative/punky influences can be found on "Out the window" too". I am interested in how significant those "alternative/punky influences" are, but couldn't find any samples.

Two copies for sale in the US. Just in case someone wants to grab a copy. They ain't too expensive. Shipping it to Germany probably would though.

I bought one.

More rock than metal. - Darkstone

Spoiler: show
The song titles tell me this is hard rock, but I'm going by the looks and Discogs' description.

Hard Rock. - Rhesus
Spoiler: show
(France, Heavy Metal/Hard Rock)

According to Discogs, released one single in 1979. The song available online, "People", sounds similar to Bang and Blast. In search of the A side, "Hard Times". Thanks!

Added. - Abyss
Spoiler: show
Genre: Heavy metal
Location: possibly USA?

A female fronted band, which released a demo tape in 1988. One song from the demo is called "Dark Winds"
I need a proof of valid release and possible more info about the band and its location and more samples.

Additionally, I would think this band is from California; because of the area code in the phone number listed on the demo cover. Additionally, as far as I can gather, their apparent previous band, Toxic Pets, was from California.

Some more sources to help solidify the band is from California:
https://www.systyrskin-nerd.com/the-band <-- apparently the current band of Marija Krstic, this has a little bio on her.

https://www.facebook.com/pg/MarijaKmusic/about/ <-- Facebook page for her music.

http://www.bautistaband.com/musicandreviews.html <-- Search Lane Hiers and you'll find some info about him here, as he was in this band before, as well.

I searched the band name plus band members' names within quotation marks.
