Added. - Circle's End
Spoiler: show
Genre: Heavy Metal ?
Location: Poitiers, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
Years Active: 1995-1999

Released the demo "Different Shades of Black", 1997.

The second incarnation of the band, Sendsirk, is already listed here on MA. Prior to the name change in 1999, they released the Different Shades of Black demo. A cursory Googling did not turn up anyone on the album, but a previous report on the Sendsrik page did include this promo blurb about the 1997 demo.

Looks like a self-titled demo to me, and can't have been released under Sendsirk anyway given the year of release.
This demo alone should warrant that the two entries be separated.

Edit: https://www.discogs.com/Circles-End-Cir ... e/11565444
Edit 2: I've asked the user who filed the report to rip the song and send it our way. I also referred him to this thread, as he seems to have more info about the band.

- It was a college band.
- They changed name due to another band called "Circle's end"

They released : - an untitled demo with 4 tracks : https://www.discogs.com/fr/Circles-End- ... e/11565444
- a demo called "Different Shades of Black" composed of 5 tracks with one track appearing on the compilation "metal session"

Idk what is "metal session", but if I don't get any tracks from Circle's end, we'll have to find this compil.

Edit 1 : Here is the "metal sessions" in question : https://www.discogs.com/fr/Various-Meta ... se/5971210
Circle's end is featured with the track : "A magical world" 05:00.

Edit 2 : And finally, I found an audio! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGd96NE-PR4

10. Sunken Trunken

Discography
Myspace (Samples)

I actually added this band a long time ago, one of my first submissions. It was later deleted because I listened to the sample again and was like what the fuck not metal and the fact that I thought the physical release/band was dubious. I think oneyoudontknow contacted the band and got info when he added the releases. They had a weird limitation and one was released on tape and CD. He might know more. The years and formats are from memory only. Might be 2001 and 2002.

Anyway, I later found more samples and they actually turned out to be metal. I'm not really sure if the release actually exists or not, though. I bought a copy but they never sent me it. I even asked beforehand if it was still available and I got a reply saying yes, but they never mailed it out or replied to further e-mails. Might have just been ripping a guy off 6-7 years after it was released, which is why I'm now posting it here.

I was contacted in regard to this band, but I cannot find anything in my mail program (so far that would indicate that I could help with this matter. Sadly,I deleted by MySpace profile, with the obvious outcome that all of my mails vanished into the ether. I still have some old mail profiles. I see what I can do in regard to this band.

Regarding Heartattack: This review of their three songs demo, which includes three songs from the later Wake UP And Smell The Coffee release, describes them as playing glam/hard rock and sounding like a mix of AC/Dc, ˇGu¨ns'N' Roses and Poison. It does not look too promising for the band, I'm afraid...

Needs research. - Distant Thunder
Genre: Heavy Metal
location:
Lansing, Michigan, USA
The band released a demo cassette in 1990. Need samples from the demo and more infos about it. Not to be confused with the two other American metal bands named Distant Thunder.
https://christiantapeunderground.wordpr ... nder-demo/

Edit: It appears, that the 1990 demo was only intended to apply for concert at the Cornerstone festival, unfortunately. If anyone has some proofs, that the tape was ddistributed to tother people than just the festival organizers, please post it here.
The band has however a second demo called Peaches N Cream from 1994, which was released physically, so please, if anyone has samples from that demo, it would be greatly appreciated. The Peaches N Cream demo is recently for sale on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DISTANT-THUNDE ... 2202346520

Needs research. - Nonexistent Failure
Genre: Death metal/Metalcore ?
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Years Active: 1999-2003

Releases:
*In Loving Memory of Everything... I Never Had (demo, 2002)

Members:
*Brent Duckett - Drums (1999-2003)
*Jason Wisdom - Lead Vocals (1999-2003)
*Sean Cunningham - Rhythm Guitar (1999-2003) & Lead Guitar (2001-2003)
*Jon Star - Lead Guitar (1999-2003)
*Wes Gaither - bass (1999–2003) [some wiki sites have implied that there was a previous unnamed bassist with the group from 1999-2000, and Gaither joined afterwards]
*Unnamed second vocalist (1999-~2001)
*Jacob Franklin - Rhythm Guitar (2001-2003)

This is another one of those bands that is technically here under a new incarnation, but there's not enough info to add earlier version of the group. This was the first incarnation of what would eventually become The Remnant and Becoming the Archetype. They locally distributed a demo CD around 2002, but release quantity/distribution method is unclear. I've also never been able to hunt down a track list or samples, but they appear to have played the same mix of polished death metal and metalcore that their later incarnations did.

Hey MetalCuredHeadaches, the demo really was released, but nowadays the audiofiles from the demo are no longer available, neither photos of the copies that were made. I hope this works for you!

Postdata: If one of these days, the audio files come out by a person who still has this demo together with also one or another photo from the demo, I will not hesitate in bumping this search and in put it an edit.

Listening to that comp that features Eroticism, they still sound fine to me. Needs more proof regarding the release though.

Found another band on that comp that seems to be worth investigating:
Needs research. - Zeä~Nä
Genre: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock
Country: Japan
Known Members: Akira (based on the demo cover and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIlPuIwdf1c)

Seems like they released a demo tape in 1995, but I need more info on that.
https://www.discogs.com/Ze%C3%A4N%C3%A4 ... e/12159397

Judging by the cover it is related to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_Citta
So probably a live recording.

Featured with two pretty metal tracks here:

The Japanese says 無料配布 デモテープ (Muryō haifu demo tape / free distribution demo tape) so, like the EVE tape earlier, it was given away 'free' to people who bought tickets and attended the show at Club Citta (Kawasaki) on 5/27/1995.

Thanks for listening to Eroticism. Paganiusi.
Another of the Japanese bands, Kitsunebi, was recently submitted under its origianl Japanese transcription. the user was apparently able to find more info about their releases that way. I found another song by them, which appears on the compilation, which sounds pretty metal, and reported it on that submission. It is here:

Please, could the bands Eve, Glace, Hot Coke and Double Edged be removed from the list, since they have all already been accepted? Thanks.

Needs research. - Prédikátor
Genre: Thrash Metal
Location: Szeged, Hungary
Members: Csaba Szabó - Guitars; Ferenc Vörös - Bass; Antal Polak - Drums; Molnár Szabolcs - Guitars, Vocals

Apparently released an album in 2010 called "Malomkő":
1. Az alkony Ősz eljövetele
2. Maradandó Akarat
3. Jövendőmondó
4. A Hit ellenszere
5. Útonjáró
6. Malomkő
7. Az őrület palotája
8. A múltat őrző halmok

Their guitarist added it to this Hungarian rock forum/wiki
http://predikator.rockerek.hu/
Sadly there is no download, just lyrics and a ReverbNation stream of some demo songs

https://www.reverbnation.com/pr%C3%89dik%C3%81tor/songs

There's also the youtube chanel of their singer with tons of live recordings of the band.
https://www.youtube.com/user/6deathcorp6/videos

The Myspace page from late 2010 doesn't say anything:
https://web.archive.org/web/20101229165 ... predikator

Needs proof for a public release of the album.

http://sonic-project.com/mitoi/link_zimoto_hijklm.htm
So the band was active under the name JΦZ Qold from 2010 to 2013 The band name should be also corrected to JΦZ instead of Jéz, because it is the correct transcription and I was only using the incorrect one in my original submission, because I had some problems with copying and pasting the epsilon letter.

Found some video of JΦZ Qold performing in a music shop in Mita City, Ibaraki Prefecture, NE of Tokyo in 2011:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAXAoZB ... &index=184

They don't seem very metal at this point in time if this track is typical (possible change of style on reformation?), but the front guy appears to be using the same model guitar as the pic on Rob M's original video so at least it confirms that part of the bio.

Also found a copy of the original compilation JΦZ were on for sale here: https://www.mbok.jp/item/item_484599219.html

Seems to have been released by a local music venue in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture, so that may well be where they were originally based. (The track from 'Gideon Knights' also on this compilation)

The B-side also sounds more like rock. Plus, there's an entire full-length out there too we have yet to listen to.

Thanks a lot for the additional info, the tracklisting for that ccompilation featuring Gideon Knights and Jéz is a big help. In that context, what would be needed most is some convincing proof of valid physical releases by both Gideon Knights and Jéz, which would confirm the info in the bio by Rob M.

The eBay account ('stevegarveyfan') that sells most of the Christian metal cassettes that Witcher has posted in here has a ton of stuff that hasn't been mentioned in this thread and is also not listed in the Archive. I've gone ahead and compiled more of his relevant listings here, so there's a more concise list that people can work from if they care to gamble on purchases, or we can filter out with other info. Minimal vetting has been done on this list so far, but I'll be helping to whittle it away in the coming days. Also note, his genre listings are slightly less than helpful, lots of them just "Metal" or "Metal/Rock". Not much I can do there, maybe we can find samples. I'll add more as I have the time.

Rock. - Keith Anderson

Genre: "Metal"
Location: Holt, Michigan, USA

Tracklist:

Features session drums by John Heald of Armada fame. Cannot definitively link this "Keith Anderson" to any of the US artists currently on the site.

Needs research. - Isolation Chamber
Genre: Industrial Metal
Location: Middlesbrough, UK
Year of Formation: 199?
Line-up: Darren O'Hara (vocals, guitars, words), Ashley Quinn (bass), Al Esis (drums)

Ancestral Breathing (1996?, format unknown)
They Have Failed
Ancestral Breathing
Angel Vein
Scarlet
Terminal (acoustic)
Terminal

A YouTube channel named IsolationChamber9 appears to be affiliated with the band. From the description of one of the videos:
Quote:
Isolation Chamber were an Industrial Metal band from Middlesbrough in the mid 90's with Ashley Quinn on bass, Darren O'Hara guitar/vocals/words and Al Esis on drums.

Very little is known about this band, and absolutely nothing has turned up on social media. Their only known release has neither a release date nor original format issued, but the music appears to have been uploaded in its entirety. If you squint really hard, you can read "Recorded at Studio 64 Middlesbrough 1996," so it's possible this was released in the mid-'90s, but we probably would need something physical.

What do we do in cases like this?

Should all be correctly attached to the individual bands.

I also removed the spoilers on the bands that are still under investigation. I know that makes the post rather lengthy, but the spoilers kinda interfere with the overall thread structure.
