Think About:
I tried finding info about this band a while ago and came up with nothing. But, yeah, the split is with Viking from Norway:

Oxxid can probably be scratched off the list. The sound quality is insanely bad and it appears to be a mix of rehearsals and live recordings with some things cut off too, but what I can discern is vaguely melodic rockish. Plus the volume is extremely low. Really bad. One part sounds heavier, but it's barely recognisable because of the sound. Perhaps I got a bad dub job with this copy, but doesn't sound metal anyway.

Regarding Templo: Their song Tears Of Midnight was published on a CD compilation put together by Metal Mission magazine called Metal Mission - Brazilian collection II.
I have a plea and a request in that regard. Could please someone, who is able to work with internet tools such as archive.org retrieve some information from a deleted page of Metal Mission magazine? I namely believe, that their demo was also distributed by Metal Mission and there was originally some info about it in their shop section. This links namely comes up, when I am searching for hte band in connection with the MM magazine: http://www.metalmission.com/index.php

www.metalmission.com/loja/lista_cd.php?op=heavy

Here's the info about the compilation: http://thebrazilianforce.blogspot.com/2 ... n-vol.html

Regarding "Think About", the label owner and band member replied:
Lineup was the same as Magister
Astrid, Patrick, Timo, Erik

Genre: Symphonic Dark-Metal

Discography:
Wunschlose Träume (1996)
1. Schlaflose Winde
2. Todesgefühl
3. Die Reise ins Ungewisse
4. Die Unendlichkeit
5. Aufrüstung zum Kampf
6. Augenlicht voller Gefühle
7. Wunschlose Träume
8. Schwarze Zukunft
9. Ende des Gedanken

Finsternis (1998)
1. Intro
2. Dark Future
3. Eyelight Full of Feelings
4. Travel into the Uncertainity
5. Infinity
6. Finsternis
7. Waldgeist
8. Windesspiele
9. The Burning Red
10. Outro

The split was the first VFN demo and the first Think About demo on one tape. About 10 copies were made.

I'll try to get some samples and stuff.

Also regarding Templo:
I tried to get info from those links, but the earliest screenshot on archive.org is from 2009 and doesn't provide any info on it or the band.

I noticed they are called Themplo on that sampler? Oh, on the demo too. Changing that in the OP.

Themplo:
I meant to post this the other day, but I downloaded and searched all of the metalmission.com pages and the only mention of Themplo were on the links pages, which links to that url you've already found and a later one which didn't have much archived:

Regarding A Few Seasons Later (Antioch post)
judging from the Spirit of Metal artwork this might be a page related to the band:
https://www.facebook.com/afewseasons.later.3
One could try to contact it.

BTW the review link is dead, here's an archived version:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170202200 ... autop.html

Also "The Ancient" was apparantly accepted shortly after Antioch brought them up. Removed.

Regarding Themplo : I have found out, that their drummer Flávio Pascarillo is already listed in the database. He has played with Thoten, Nordheim and other Brazilian bands:

https://www.facebook.com/flavio.pascarillo

BTW, thanks for the links, Halloween.

Not metal. - Bluesy Alt Rock - ANIMAL SOUL
http://www.facebook.com/Animal-soul-89232931700/
Removed today due to metalness-related issues, but not blacklisted.

The only material available is from this release:
https://www.jamendo.com/artist/355684/a ... oul/albums

However, the band had a debut release, for which it was once approved, as well as a later release.
https://scontent-amt2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/ ... e=5CBB9D0E

The genre read "Heavy/Thrash Metal with Rock Influences". Turns out it's mostly rock, which could very well be the case with the debut, Hell-Heaven (aka 11ell-11eaven), too.

As per Azmodes' suggestion, we're giving the band the benefit of the doubt.

EDIT: I tried searching for "11ell-11eaven" (instead of Hell-Heaven), which I hadn't done before, and voila:
http://www.mclub.com.ua/vcat.phtml?acti ... lbum=41197
40-second samples are available for 6 songs. Apart from the opening riff in Modern Gigole, which can pass as metal, the rest of the riffs are either bluesy or alternative rock/metal licks.

Hey all,

Got a band that needs further research per advisement from Azmodes, for anyone who may have been in the Milwaukee, WI Black Metal community or obtained the release:

Added. - Nihil Rising
Genre- Black Metal (Nihilist/Atavistic)
Years active- 2005/2006 to 2009

Spoiler: show
- There was a demo made and put on CD-R (roughly 10 were made) that was passed out to friends and those interested after attending one of the multiple underground shows they performed, wondering if there is a fully copy out there somewhere, the only info i've been able to get from a fan/ friend of one of the band members on the release is a single image of the demo CD, and digital files for the first 4 of the 8 tracks that were on it-- due to the CD being damaged in some way I was not able to receive the rest.

If anyone has further info or a copy of the actual CD please reply to this or send me a message, I have a draft of the band and details for submission, just trying to get the rest of the appropriate context/details.

For Azmodes or those working at MA- if there is not result in finding the additional tracks and a segue for checking them out (per discussion on the other thread of original reference), is there a way to appropriately email or dropbox the tracks that are available to you that you would accept?

Added. - Enthralled

Hey guys,

while MA lists two different bands named Enthralled, the black metal band and predecessor of Sapthuran from the US, and the Swedish Death Thrashers, Discogs has a third one: A black metal entity from Sweden. As the pics there show the band uses a different logo and seems to be a different group over all.
Sadly I haven't been able to dig up any more information about this band, including a sound sample.

Is anyone able to provide some tracks from this demo?

Thanks for your time!

Enthralled:
There's this guestbook entry:
http://www.oocities.org/sunsetstrip/pal ... tml?201925
Spoiler: show
Patrik/Enthralled - 04/28/98 09:34:47

Comments:
Nice page, Cradle rules! Check out our debut demo Enthralled "Masquerade of the Dead" 5 US/dollar from my adress: Patrik Andersson, Utgårdsgatan 48, 723 55 Västerås, SWEDEN. Enthralled plays enthralling black/goth metal, brutal but yet gloomy... I hope t hear from all metalheads soon...

That guy's page has the band listed as "The Enthralled": Patrik Andersson
There are two other artists with "The Enthralled" listed as well:
David Ahlén
Andreas Morén

Might be worth contacting some of those guys, but that guestbook entry might be enough.

That shows a definition for "dork punk", but has no reference to that band.

Regarding Madam Flora: Maybe it's what they played (lol). This actually came up in google search for Madam flora punk , so there is a possibility they really were a Swedish band, since most of the bands with demos in that distro are Scandinavian.

Needs research. -
More certain info : Regarding Depressive Carrots, Einar Grimm Band and Pussycunts. They all were "fun" project of former Mayhem member Occultus (Stian Johannsen). ThThese bands recorded one split tape together, tha one ,wwhich is listed in Naseblod list, and were most probably some sort of punk and not metal. Source: http://pelleohlinmorbidmayhem.blogspot. ... bands.html

http://pelleohlinmorbidmayhem.blogspot. ... jects.html
Quote: Pussycunts appeared on the split tape entitled : Rehearsals of gut regurgitations.

The tape includes the following bands :

- Einar Grimm Band

- Depressived Carrots

- Kardinal

- Pussycunts

- Nice Mutïlators

Update on Excalibur:
The reunions were 2 one-time things for the concerts, nothing more. So they were active in 2015 for a gig and in 2018 for a gig.
Also Franc confirmed that the songs were released on cassette back in the day, but didn't give me a tracklist or anything, I think he doesn't have it anymore.
He also sent me all demo songs they ever recorded, the 4 listed on HMR and 7 others, I uploaded all of them to my dropbox
Link to the songs is here:

Oir Mortales:
They released their first album (the one on youtube, I suppose) on rapidshare in 2011 and a demo in 2012.
Demo: https://www.facebook.com/oir.mortales1/ ... 1672628429
"1er Disco" refered to as ACA + dowload: https://www.facebook.com/oir.mortales1/ ... 9612395119
Further info/proof that it's that album: https://www.facebook.com/oir.mortales1/ ... 0777514303

Looks like a legit download to me, even though Rapidshare is down for some years now

Thanks. In that case, I think we should inform our Argentinian friend, who posted the band here, that he can submit them. Of course, it is up to you to carry that action and to have the final word, since you are the moderator after all.
Edit: Another issue: The bands Adamah and Hawk Angel should be removed from the list on the first page, since they were recently accepted.

Well, he hasn't logged in since Mid-December, so we'll see.

Adamah & Hawk Angel removed from the list.

Also, in case you missed my memo: feel free to add Excalibur, can't restore the original submission if there was one. And you brought them up here.

Released a demo tape in 1989. I messaged the next band of some of the guys (called Nevermore) and requested a rip of said cassette tape. Did some Googling, and found nothing. While I wait for the rip (or the a message telling me to kindly fuck myself), I figured I'd put this here since some of you seem to be Google Wizards.

I found one song oof this band on youtube, it is called "Children". The cassette was self-titled and was released in 1989. If you have Youtube account, you could try to contact the channel owner and ask for details, since I have seen him already in the past answering such requests. The song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLWG2qdTmhE
Edit: Threshold islisted on Discogs, so here is the complete tracklisting of their demo and the line-up, who recorded it: https://www.discogs.com/Threshold-Thres ... e/12426498

Regarding Lake Of Anal Mucus: I have listened to some of their material and imo it is punkish goregrind/pornogrind and not metal. Of course, the final ddecision is up to the mods, but please listen to this:

Regarding Steel River: As halloween has already determined, the Steel River album is the same as the Robert Morton-Jones album Burning Fire-Ka Ma Te. I have listened to samples from that album on Itunes and it seems to me like a mixture of hard rock and southern rock in the style of bands like Molly Hatchet, Dixie Dregs or Blackfoot. The full album is available on Spotify and GooglePlay, so the mods, who have an account there, can validate it: https://open.spotify.com/album/3xjSinE1EiXTlvU88iGH86

TThis post got somehow overlooked so I am bumping it again. Robert Morton-Jones was the former member of the band Steel River and his solo compilation CD includes all tracks from the Steel River demo. It is obvious from the samples posted by me above, that their music is not heavy metal, but southern rock/hard rock, son Steel River can be removed from the list imo. Here is the explanation of the link between Steel River and Rob Morton-Jones' solo album: https://www.ie.wowhd.com/robert-jones-b ... 4501399630

Regarding Asmorod Here is the full demoand while there are certainly ambinet sequences , there are is also a good portion of some Folk/black metal with real electric guitars on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOzWzhNl3jM
The split promo with Chasms Of Malice is not listed on Asmorod's Discogs.compage and I could not find any info about it online except for the review already posted, but the band has a Bandcamp page, so maybe someone can find something useful there: https://asmorod.bandcamp.com/

Scratched Lake of Anal Mucus off the list, riffless grind.

Regarding Steel River: The comp actually features 3 of his old bands and it's not known which is which. It's all hard rock anyway. Scratched.

As for Asmorod. The demo has 2 songs that seem to be pre-dominantly metal and one that has metal bits, the rest is Dungeon Synth for the vast majority. (black) Metal takes up maybe 1/3 of the release. Given that the rest of the discography is pure Ambient/Electronic stuff, that's far from enough. A 3 track promo split isn't gonna change that, so they get scratched aswell. Chasms of Malice will stay though.

Regarding Theianism: They certainly play death metal, judging from the samples, and for possible valid releases, it could be useful to contact the owner of the Pest Webzine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5ZerBzIrJ4

I got both Eternity's Voice demos in full. It's a mix of neoclassical heavy metal and... neoclassical without metal. Need to check it further.

Needs research. - Ultimus Gradus (Germany, Black Metal)
- Ultimus Gradus (2019, demo-CD-R)

https://www.musik-sammler.de/media/1388229/
Further links in the profile there. It's some sort of bm from what I've skimmed. More info on distribution and the nature of that CD needed.

Well aware of the metalness, all it's lacking is a valid release.
The first video contains an interview with the zine in which they state, they haven't released anything yet, but plan to record the first demo soon.
At the end there's also a myspace link which lead to this:
https://web.archive.org/web/20130602073 ... /THEIANISM
On there, the discography states "Demo #1 (May 26th, 2011) (2011)"
and below that there's a "Digital Store" (link to Bandcamp).
The bandcamp still exists, but there are no songs online + archive.org doesn't have anything saved :(
It's listed on RYM though

Not a band specifically; Social Despair from Greece has a 2013 release whose mentions I found only on their fb and bigdumbskulls called Refusal for Abreaction. A full length at that.
Band - https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/So ... 3540327789
Need: that album

Here is the full Social Despair album Refusal For Abreaction on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mKqelAWaFI

Tracklist:
01 - Raw Violence
02 - Suffer Remains
03 - Buried Deep In Me
04 - Welcome To The Slaughter
05 - Thrash Without Mercy
06 - The Inner Eclipse
07 - Social Despair
I think , that the band can be now removed from the list, since the request was a bit off topic anyway, since the thread is for bands, that are not (yet) listed in the database.
