That picture is awful, lol
But there's a better one in the full album upload on youtube, so I'm gonna add them. Thanks.

EDIT: Removed.

Needs research. - Svantevid
Genre: Ambient Black Metal
Country: Croatia??
Members: Lord Tertt; Lord Chernobog

According to their almost completely wiped facebook page, they did a 7-track demo at..some point.
There's barely any info on this band, but I found two of their songs on youtube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APdT2eZoTh4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVIheol9iU0

Other links:
https://www.facebook.com/Svantevid-151488444863785/
https://myspace.com/svantevidtheband

Their singer used to be active in a band called Winterfront
His profile:
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Tertt/146650

Needs more samples and proof for VR.

I would also appreciate it if you could take a step back. There's no need to update us with everything you do. Info is fine, but you're doing too much.
Also judging by your pics of conversations you're pretty upfront about everything (like you always do). Maybe take it slowly there. Don't run over people you don't know with dozens of questions. A bit politeness never hurts.

Lastly, I don't really need confirmation that this was released. It was for sale on their bloody homepage and all reviews say you can buy it there. All I need is samples.

Added. - Sabre's Edge
Spoiler: show
Genre : Heavy Metal

Released a self.titled demo in 1989 nd a demo called Acceptance later on.
I need proof of physical release for the demo "Acceptance and maybe the info about the exact year of release.

Needs research. - Cannibal Jo
Genre: Symphonic Death Metal/Metalcore
Location: Montreal/Quebec, Canada

Sounds good/borderline enough for me to give it a shot.

Seems like they released a self-titled album in 2012, alledgedly on CD.
Tracklist:
Spoiler: show
1. Bloody Mind
2. The Lost Path
3. Slaves of Victories
4. This Energy
5. Secret
6. Passing the Light
7. Horned Child
8. My World
9. Buried Memories
10. Black Prayer
11. Dishonest
12. Dark Blood
13. You Believe Me

Sources:
https://www.spirit-of-metal.com/de/band/Cannibal_Jo
http://www.metal-jukebox.net/viewtopic.php?t=3492 (both download links are dead)
https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album ... ibal_jo.p/ (CD?)
http://www.quebecpunkscene.net/cannibaljo/

https://myspace.com/cannibal.jo (nothing to be found here)
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cannibal ... 6359342541 (dead)

The Facebook link on the Spirit of Metal entry leads to some guy who worked at Facebook. Coincidence, I'd say, due to the original link being dead for ages, redirecting to ...something else.

Needs full samples and proof for VR.

Hey Antioch. I know that you probably you don't know much Spanish or 0 Spanish, so I'm going to summarize it for you in English and in other words:
All those demos were released. The problem was rooted according to Amputation, is that they were demos with a bad, rough and disastrously sound released digitally. Other than that, the songs from those demos were recorded by members who eventually took the songs to other bands xD.

I sincerely hope this works for you or works in general for this thread.

EDIT: Misinterpretation on my part when I understood that the demos were released digitally.

Thanks for the info, ThStealthP.
Do you mean "digitally" as in "streaming on YouTube" or as in "shared via MediaFire or something"?

That doesn't answer his question... Was the release only uploaded to YouTube or was it actually a valid digital release?

Well, since acknowledging mistakes is from noble and honest people, I must admit that I gave part of the answer based on a misinterpretation. Amputation just confirmed me a few minutes ago, that the demos were only released in USB format for radio stations. No only-streaming on YouTube, nor any digital platform in general.

Alright, thanks for the clarification, ThStealthP. Sounds like there's no valid release after all. This one can be taken off the list, Paganius, whenever you have the time.

Cheers, Stormy.

Added. - Toxic Room
Spoiler: show
Genre : Heavy Metal?
Location: Portugal

Former name of Toxikull, they seem to have released a CD under this name: https://www.discogs.com/Toxic-Room-Litt ... e/15384038

The last song is on Toxikull's debut, which I have. It's heavy metal, but here's the rub: I blacklisted Toxic Room in 2012 for being more rock than metal. That may be outdated or based on misleading sampling then, I dunno, but considering this, I want to have more samples available if possible.

Regarding Hammered: Their only demo was apparently released only to the organizers of the Cornerstone festival in order to apply for a place onth festival's bill. So that demo was not a public release. The same situation is with the band Distant Thunder, which was posted by me , with the difference, that Distant Thunder had a second demo, which was publicly distribured, Wereas Hammered had only that "Cornerstone" demo. See this review for the info on this type of demos:

Damn! I'll see if I can add it to Discogs (now that we have proof of the release) and then add it to my wantlist. If a seller lists it for an affordable price, I'll pick it up. Is that a good idea? Never added a release on Discogs, though, I must say, but I don't think that's a big deal.

Edit: I've contacted the seller via another ad asking whether it's still available. It wasn't sold back then. Let's see what happens.

I didn't expect this to be as solid to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, this is ready to go to the queue.

Added. - Dark Knights of the Soul

Spoiler: show
"Sorry Corpse555, Encyclopaedia Metallum was forced to reject your submission for the band Dark Knights of the Soul (United States), for the following reason:

Can you please provide more song samples for listening, preferably the entire release? The available music is ambiguous as to whether this is actually a metal band. If you don't have any more music available, consider posting about the band in this thread.

If you want to object to this rejection, please do so in the Band Appeals forum (read the rules thread first). Do not e-mail moderators directly about this. If you need help digging up more information about a band for your submission, you can try posting about it in this thread"

The songs I can provide are the ones listed on my original posting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwMDYYEukyY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsCa9ajZWSk
https://darkknightsofthesoul.bandcamp.com/music
https://www.reverbnation.com/darkknights7

I can not provide a link to their debut album because they never renewed their distribution. However this was their old Spotify page with now "unplayable tracks":
https://open.spotify.com/album/1o5Sf8JfMzYEsP7jGVm3Lz

I can understand why this would be questioned regarding the ambiguity of their sound. Their main influences happen to be 70s / 80s Heavy Metal / doom metal, Megadeth, Metallica. Most of the 70s metal bands like Black Sabbath and such have had a lighter sound from what we're all used to by today's standard. Some of their softer tones can be compared to how currently Ghost (Ghost BC) write their music, they are listed on Metal Archives, however Ghost sound more like a hard rock band. Dark Knights... softer tones can also be compared to Black Sabbath "ballad-like" songs, such as "Fluff" or even "It's Alright". Their song "Dementia 2017 AD" has a sound that sounds like it's a mix of Black Sabbath (the song) and possibly even Megadeth (musically).

As far as what kinda bands they would be able to share the stage with, if this would matter, Black Label Society, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Metallica, Dio / Heaven & Hell, Ghost, Twisted Sister, Deep Purple, (possibly) Yngwie Malmsteen. All bands listed are on Metal Archives.

Needs the full album to listen to.

Hi, I posted this to the other thread suggested and was told it belongs here, but these are a lot of tracks I’ve included, total 17 recorded and 2 live, most of their album with the exception of 2 tracks are found on their reverbnation page:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwMDYYEukyY - live track

Yeah, we know. But it's a tricky case. This band was assessed based on all of those songs in the past (2015), but none were really sure whether it's more rock or more metal, hence we want to listen to ALL of the songs from that album.
Also all songs that are not on that album don't get considered in the evaluation process, because they don't affect the metalness of the album in question.

Needs research. - ZE:US
Genre: Power/Prog/Industrial Metal?
Location: Germany
Known members: Tommy Smids - bass, keys, vocals; Dave Mancino - guitar; Rene Czyrka - vocals; Tobe Streim - drums, loop, vocals

Previously known as Q-Squad.

Released the demo "On Every Hour" in 2000, both on CD and digitally on their homepage.
1. On Every Hour
2. Welcome
3. SOS
4. Solitude
5. The Lizard's Tongue
https://web.archive.org/web/20010202082 ... index2.htm

The bands sound was described as a mix of Power Metal, Waltari, Krupps and Rage Against the Machine in this review for a promo CD that has way more songs than that demo.

Contacted Red Circuit (Tommy's current band), but they didn't respond yet...
They are present on a RockHard sampler with the track "Welcome" which sounds...borderline, but possibly okay. Needs more samples though.

ZE:US was formed in 1997 and split-up in 2001 for the loss of their guitarists. Tobe is also talking about a release that was produced by Markus Teske that sadly was never released. Which will be that release ? On Every Hour? Because Tobe is also talking about only one song from Zeus that did reach the masses, but Tobe at no time mentions any of the demos released by ZE:US in 1999 and 2000:

Do you think that could update this search too with ?
Years Active: 1997-2001
Status: Split-up

This however was a demo spread sometime before that, and sometimes bands don't consider them "released", because "released" means "by a label" to them.
Gets backed up by his other note, stating that only one song reached the masses, because it was featured on a "big" compilation.

"On Every Hour" never was released itself. However, I am asking the producer about the evidence found that it was released digitally and physically. Said all this, maybe only the demo from the album was released, but not the album itself.

Hey PaganiusI, I got the full demo in WAV format:

Update: Post re-edited with a new link.

Needs research. - Eternal Curse
Genre : Death Metal?
Location: Sweeden

Former name of Measureless. Appears they released a demo c.1992 named Cursed. Ambiguous notes on our page for Measureless imply their may be other releases under this name as well. Not much other info to go on.

You can remove 火の鳥 ('Hi no Tori'/Phoenix) from the list as it has now been accepted.

Needs research? - Fleshwounds

https://fuckyeahblackmetaldesigns.tumbl ... ation-demo
https://www.discogs.com/Fleshwounds-Rad ... e/12980946

Dunno if this is good enough without samples. Described as "Black Metal" and features:
- https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Maniac/53

Dunno whether it's a well-known project. I've never heard of it before.

This is a "just in case" type of thing. The guy behind the band already stated that the release never happened and the band got deleted, but there's contradicting info on this...so... Maybe...

Needs research. - 14-22
Genre: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock?
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Might have released: Calles de cemento (LP, c.1985)
As already stated, the only known band member denies its existence.
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... Cenci/4763

Proof the release was recorded:
https://web.archive.org/web/20070803182 ... /cenci.htm

Needs proof for a release which we will most likely never get. Better safe than sorry.

Dark Knights of the Soul:

Hey dude, this is your thread for this case in specific:
viewforum.php?f=27

Hi, I posted this to the other thread suggested and was told it belongs here, but these are a lot of tracks I’ve included, total 17 recorded and 2 live, most of their album with the exception of 2 tracks are found on their reverbnation page:

https://www.reverbnation.com/darkknights7/songs - 17 tracks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwMDYYEukyY - live track
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsCa9ajZWSk - live track
https://darkknightsofthesoul.bandcamp.com/music - (6 of the 17 tracks - some remixed)

What a weird mix. The vocals often sound like a mix of power and thrash metal, but the riffs are mostly typical German 90s "Funk Metal".
They did not lie when comparing this to RATM. Doesn't seem to be acceptable. Thanks alot for digging this up though!

Hey PaganiusI, well, really that LP yes it was recorded but never released publicly, the release was private. You can confirm this with Az, who was the one who attended my report regarding this with captures of my conversation with him.

When is discovered that a band isn't predominantly metal on this thread or unambiguously metal like in this case, can the band go blacklist or no ?

Az was the one who asked me to post about this band here, again...just in case.

It could, sure. Doesn't feel like it's really necessary though, the bands here are obscure enough that the chance of someone else submitting them are rather slim.
