Needs research. - Replic Void
Genre: Groove/Death Metal
Location: Alor Setar, Kedah (Malaysia)
Known members: Sean Valdry (Guitars, Vocals); Nuno Apache (Bass); Achun (Drums - session?); Arn (Drums - session?)

Aryon (session drummer?)-> https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Aryon/405548
Brotha Lah Warlord (session drummer?)

The band was apparently active between 1993 and 2004 and possibly reformed around 2010/2011.

They recorded a demo tape called "Comes With A Million Soul" that was released in the 90s with this tracklist:
1. Addari 02:00
2. Comes with Million Soul 02:21
3. Hawariyyun Parasite 02:16 instrumental

According to the description on their youtube videos they planned to re-release it in 2011.

Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/belanaseni ... shelf_id=0
Facebook post with some biography: https://www.facebook.com/48844993453615 ... =3&theater
Reunion announcement? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBty7tthXT0

Found no real proof for either of those releases.

Hello there, it's me again :3

Since we now have an expert on French Underground matters, I hope we can deal with this one rather quickly ;)

Needs research. - Crozius Arcanum
Genre: Black Metal
Location: France

Known Members:
- Martyr (Drums, Vocals - 1997-2000) -> https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Martyr/62158
- Lyshd Mordrak (Guitars - 1997-2000) -> https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ordrak/700
-Wardon (Drums - 1997-1999)

Since it was submitted by a band member, I guess that info is correct.

Was submitted with demos listed in the discography:
The Blazon of the Dark Castle:
1. Drageon's tavern   instrumental
2. Moriater
3. War in the death's valley
4. Myth drannor
5. In the northerm plain
6. Dark hymns
7. Drink in the skull our enemies   instrumental

and

Et perseverare diabolicum
1. Et perseverare diabolicum   instrumental
2. Obsesion morbide
3. Demence et blaspheme
4. L'antique revelation

But neither music nor any info on how they were released. I tried to contact Funeraille, but as it is with kvlt underground bands...no one answered my mails.
They were also featured on this compilation which I own:
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Morbid- ... ase/387005
But since I only got a cheap rip/homedubbed tape with xeroxed cover, I don't have the booklet wiht band info, sadly.

Music is fine based on the song on that comp, but I need info on the demos themselves.

The band might be addable as is, because the track is undeniably metal; however, I think it wouldn't hurt to find some more info, since the description says "promotional release". It doesn't look like it, though.
This is all I've got: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pp5X4iTFyA

Submitted with 4 good-quality songs in total, and info concerning the release and the line-up. Voila! :)

Needs research. - Apex (Poland)

Hey, so I wanted to add a Polish band Apex from the town Prudnik, but I need to provide some proof that they made a validly distributed release. There's a problem with that since there's very small amount of information about Apex on the internet. I was able to find only one song by them on YouTube. I doubt that someone could help me with that due to the lack of information about the band, but there's always a chance that this will be read by some Polish metalhead who remembers the 80s.

Links:
My entry: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Apex/3540447421
Apex's Polish Wikipedia site: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apex_(zes ... 2_muzyczny)
The one song that I found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYFCzBlMOuM (note that this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDBvkTM6I1U is not the same Apex that I'm trying to submit)
Polish Heavy Metal Page: http://www.dorosledzieci.cba.pl/inne.htm (there's a mention of 4 songs by Apex: "Karuzela", "Zanim skończy się bal", "Złamany klucz" and "W teatrze barw", they were all recorded in the studio of Radio Opole)

I'll try to have some informations, unfortunately I saw this message too late, I was at Motocultor Fest, they sell a lot of underground french metal overthere, sometimes real rarities (like In Yür Face that I added a year ago in the archives).

Hi, as I said in my previous message I was at Motocultor fest this week end. I buyed a lot of promo-CD's and some of them are from bands not in the archives. Idk if a promo CD with blank CD, and paper cover is enough to be considered as a release, so we may need more informations about these bands. I'm gonna rip everything and put them in my channel. So here are the two bands :

Haven't listened yet, but since there's solid VR proof the queue can do that task :) It's listed as Hard Rock/AOR, but if you think it's metal enough go ahead.

If it's a promo in the sense that they sent it to labels/zines/radio stations to get some advertizing or a label deal, then no.
If it's a promo in the sense of a demo that also received some public distribution, it should be fine...given that there's proof for that.

Hello, Axel
Since you seem also to be an expert on Swiss underground metal bands, even those of the more melodic variety, I would like to ask you, if youplease could help me to find samples from the whole ep by the Swiss metal/hard rock band Edison. There is already a post on it in this thread, so I'll repeat briefly, that they released an ep in 1995 called Experience, which was limited only to 300 copies:

Yes, I know. I noticed that Bonzie had submitted them before, so I shot him a message and told him to resubmit if he still has the songs.

I was opting towards having my first try for adding bands to the site and get them approved; the first one being Silvertomb. But the approval was rejected because their debut album hasn't been released yet (Nov. 1st). That was the reason why it was rejected, though I was informed on whether they'll actually approve my submission.

So I ought to wait till their debut release?

1) Completely wrong thread.
2) Isn't the answer obvious?
3) In case it isn't: Yes, wait for the album to be actually released.

Adjusting your post a little

Thanks pag!
Edit : Can we delete Nuclear Sentence's post? I just find audios... I've gone too fast and haven't looked for it as much as I should have, sorry.

Contacted Strid Facebook page, they confirmed Battle never released anything. - Battle
Spoiler: show
Location: Askim, Norway
Genre: Black Metal
Status: Split-up
Years active: 1992-1993

Predecessor band of decently well-known Strid. Both Wikipedia and the Metal Archives mention that Strid's End of Life demo was actually released under the name "Battle" but then reissued under the name "Strid". Although "strid" means "battle" in Norwegian, this seems to be a stark enough name change to warrant its own band entry (I mention this to combat the argument that the band Battle has been subsumed into the Strid entry because it is the most recent name of a band that has undergone an insignificant name change). We would just need to find some proof of the End of Life demo being physically released under the name "Battle", after which it would be prima facie proven that Battle had an original metal release.

Added. - Dominyon
Spoiler: show
Genre: Heavy/Power Metal
Location USA
Lyrics : Christianity
The band released a demo tape "Join The Battle" in 1992. It had a song mamed Living ON The Edge. This is certainly not the ssame band as Dominion from New York, since the vocal tone and style is different and the music is far less progressive tthan the sstyle of Dominion from New YYork . The sample song is really convincingly metal, so a proof of physical release is mainly needed:

Regarding Dominion: Their "Join The Battle" demo was recently added to ddiscogs as a cassette, providing another strong hint of its physical release. Unfortunately, none of the users there seem to own it, eeven though already 6 users are interested in buying it:

I submitted Planet Earth (Japan), but it was rejected as 'more rock than metal overall' so that one can be removed from the list. They only had that one album.

Idare from Jpan can also be removed from the list, since the band has been accepted.

Done.

Folk Rock. - Die Rattenfänger
Spoiler: show
Genre: Medieval/Folk Metal/Rock
Location: Mindelheim (Bavaria), Germany
Members: Max (electric & acoustic Guitars), Stefan (Bass, Vocals), Sabine (Vocals, Flutes), Uwe Grimm(Saxophone, Keyboards, acoustic guitars, Flute, vocals), Thomas (drums)

Released a CD called "Wenn der Himmel brennt" and at least one other CD which I was unable to find anything about.
https://www.musik-sammler.de/media/1419711/
Tracklist:
1. Intro
2. Mut
3. Teufelstanz
4. König Vielfraß
5. Traum
6. Johnny Fever
7. Wenn Der Himmel Brennt
8. Doubt's
9. Sehnsuchtsblatt
10. Ein Rattenfänger
11. Won't Be Alone
12. Wisdom Of Life

Their homepage is still up and even the samples are still working, most of which sound more folk/rock driven, but a few of them suggest that it might have more metal than it wants to show off. (Az's and my opinion at least)
http://www.die-rattenfaenger.de/

Their E-Mail isn't working anymore and the address didn't lead to the man I was hoping for. Needs mainly samples.

Edit: Found a member, he sent me the release

Regarding Dominion, Lafever and hHeavy Artillery: I now have info pages about the bands, which list their demoes complete with covers and tracklisting. Could this, combined with the convincing samples at Youtube, be that much needed proof:

Regarding HubrissDebris: They can be removed from the list, since they are a hardcore/nu-metal band. Please, read the review here: http://downthelinezine.com/cue/doku.php?id=hubrisdebris
Liquid Messenger can probably be removed too, since they play in their own words funky rock influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers: http://downthelinezine.com/cue/doku.php ... _messenger
Autumn Rose too - alternative rock: http://downthelinezine.com/cue/doku.php?id=autumn_rose
King's Justice too: Listed as hard rock, the band has changed name to Feast Or Famine after the first demo and as you can hear, the Feast Or Famine stuff is really grungy hard rock and not metal: http://downthelinezine.com/cue/doku.php ... _s_justice

Regarding "The Christian Underground Encyclopedia".
The site has zero data control. The members that sign up might be briefly judged on their faith-base, but aside from that no entry they create, nothing they change needs to be verified. Everyone can add anything, so it's like a Spirit of Metal for Christian music. There are no pictures of the releases, barely any info on most of the bands and the only guy that has edited the site since it started (last year) is the admin himself. Their posting guidelines also encourage people to copy-paste stuff from wikipedia...
I don't think we can trust this site in regards of VR yet. They might turn into a decent site, but in it's current state, their system is too vague.
Just look at the page of Hubrisdebris, Matt Miller is literally credited with "Wocka wocka guitar".

BUT, the page might be useful to move further from there.
Example:

Regarding Hubrisdebris:
The site made me look up the band members and two of them play in the band CHD and an interview confirms the Hardcore/Nu Metal.
http://www.angelfire.com/in2/chd/history.html
->Removed

Liquid Messenger:
Sample here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akxxc_GmIxg
Funk/Rock. -> removed

The tracklist for Autumn Rose leads to this sample:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=965-fK5AJVk
-> Rock -> Removed

Removing King's Justice aswell, doubt that short demo holds any surprises music-wise.

Will look into the other stuff soon, I hope.
[Edit: yeah, nothing definitive there.]

Needs research. - Sharper
Genre: Heavy Metal
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Members: vocals : Stevie Pike / Drums : JB Muller / Guitars : Yves Panosetti / Bass : André Pasquier - Keyboards : Fred Versailles

"Demo 4 titres" :
01. Children of Tomorrow
02. Savage Beauty
03. Paying with Fire
04. Why Trust

Released at least one demo, the problem is that we don't know how it has been distributed, it's the classic handwritten old tape. Needs research about the physical releases they made. http://www.petp.ch/HeavyTrashDemo/index ... m/sharper/

They appeared on the following compilations
- "Alliance Rock II 87" along with Red Skies / Werewolf / Apocalypse / ADN /Stryker / Wirescare / Scrambled Eggs (with the tracks : The winds, Closer to our Goal)
- "Alliance Rock III 88" along with Genocide / Horn Rock / Saccage /Hunter / Marginal Face / ADN / Gengis Khan (with the track : Tsero)

So we have 3 different tracks featured on these compilations, but none of them are present on any known demo, EP, album...

Needs research. - Dark Scorn
Genre: Black Metal
Location: Nuremberg (Bavaria), Germany
Members: Morvan (Vocals and songwriting), Loray (Drums), J. (Guitars)
Former members: Anima Xibalba (Guitars, Bass, Mixing), Gymir (Drums)

Released the single "Dark Path of Chaos" limited to 50 copies (unknown format) and announced the album (Altar of Chaos) for 2016 (with artwork), but there's proof for neither of the releases. So that's what I need, since the music is metal.

I tried to contact the band both via mail and facebook. No response in two weeks, hence I'm posting here.
