A female fronted band, which released a demo tape in 1988. One song from the demo is called "Dark Winds"
I need a proof of valid release and possible more info about the band and its location and more samples.

Hey Witcher, I got the full demo and you can listen here in HQ, here it's:

One more band I have found while reading through old MetalPage reviews archived on Corroseum (http://thecorroseum.org/rev/apathy-out-the-window.html).

This one is described as "playing a really interesting Crossover style while basically being a Metal band but several alternative/punky influences can be found on "Out the window" too". I am interested in how significant those "alternative/punky influences" are, but couldn't find any samples.

Two copies for sale in the US. Just in case someone wants to grab a copy. They ain't too expensive. Shipping it to Germany probably would though.

I bought one.

This has arrived. I will report back when I have time to listen.

No release. - Drowned (Sweden)
Spoiler: show
Proof of release needed.

Released this:
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Re ... f_One/7290
As per the additional note, this could've been available as a digital download at some point. It doesn't belong on Reclusion's page, that's for sure.

Two of the songs had been previously released under a yet earlier name and one under Reclusion.

Ugh, that would mean our timeline is messed up aswell.
Also he might define "released" as "released by a label".
Could you maybe get some more details? The note of the release mentions it was spread through mp3.com, so maybe they uploaded it there?
Also the time ranges of Dawn of Time / Drowned etc, because ours are wrong? maybe?
I'll also ask the two guys who made most of the recent changes to the release, in case they know a little more.

Feel free to post your results in this report:

According to the band's bio, they had recorded a demo twice and not released it but had plans to release a demo tape for a show, which was cancelled. The website was later used as a page for Abysmal Gates, so this might be a precursor to that band. The transition doesn't seem to be archived, so they might have released something during that time. There are also merchandise pages that are empty except one that seems to be from the Abysmal Gates era. Someone with a facebook could probably contact Abysmal Gates and find out.

Also, they had two logos:

Halloween, these captures are from when I contacted the band where he is playing actually (which is that obviously) and one of his partners, confirmed me that he same said that this release was never released. I hope that this works for you!

Thanks for the extra work! :grumble: (just kidding)

DEMO Album "Eternal Darkness"
EP Album "The Battle For Glory"
Full-Lenght Album "A Strange World"
Soon: Full Lenght Album "Sumbru"

The only release with proof of a public release (CD) is the demo "Eternal Darkness" which consists of ambient and some guitar patterns in-between. Not really metal at all.
There's one song of the "The Battle for Glory" EP on Youtube which is ambient.
They do have 2 of the 10 songs from "A Strange World" on Facebook and that seems to be mostly (shitty) black metal. There's just nothing about the release.
Sumbru has only been announced by showing the artwork and tracklist.

Needs more samples and proof for a valid release for the "A Strange World" album (and maybe the "The Battle for Glory" EP).

Takamidori san (1 week ago) NAVE (myself, now 'Takamidori san') joined in the middle. And guitarist NAVE withdrew sometime after Julie. Was it around 1999? We weren't very popular but I'm glad you remember us. Thank you very much.

manabudark Dix (2 years ago) great !!!!! (* ω`人) Can I ask you a question !!! Do you have any of Vampanera's demo tapes, I'm only aware of the one. (ZERO)

Takamidori san (1 week ago) Are you a fan of Vocalist KIZAI? She seems to be active still. Thank you very much. I'm sorry but I have no cassette tapes nowadays. . . haha!

Needs research. - Armageddon
Genre: Black Metal
Location: Spain
Known members: Wulfheim (Guitars, Vocals, Bass), El-Zamut (Drums)

Wulfheim: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Wu ... 3540350524
El-Zamut: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/El-Zamut/127560

The band seems to be the earlier version of Wulfheim: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Wu ... 3540350524
Recorded and supposedly released the demo Satanis Filis in 1997 on cassette.
Tracklist:
1. Mortis Dominus
2. Into The Sabbat
3. Armageddon
4. Satanis Filis

Info from the original submission (2013, apparently submitted by Wulfheim):
Quote:
Satanis Filis was recorded as a very primary demo in cassette and is the only physical stuff of the band.Wulfheim always wrote all music, lyrics and did all stuff of Armageddon. The title of the demo comes from a nickname that a friend of Wulfheim called him as friendly name and then was translated after to latin for the demo and used as title. The english translation would be "Satanic Son".
The band also recorded a song in 1998 named "The Other Side" for a spanish magazine compilation but the zine dissapeared and stuff never was edited.

And:
Quote:
Armageddon starts as one man band in 1996 by Wulfheim (Known here as Baalberith) and after lots of line up changes through the years and continuos problems,Wulfheim decides split the band in 2001 and after years revives Armageddon again as solo project in 2008 and rename as Wulfheim.

Might need a bit more proof for the release (I got a photo of the tape though) and of course samples.

https://i.paste.pics/8PDL1.png

Translation to English:
As you can read in my biography and a lot interviews that I've given, the only demo recorded under the name of Armageddon titled "Satanis Filis", got lost in the hands of a former member of and from the few physical copies that were made it, it's impossible to find one nowadays. Only exists in my power the original cover art, but nothing audible.

Postdata: That was his only answer to my question regarding the demo that was released under that name.

BuriedUnborn wrote:
Needs research. - Sevrage (United States, Groove Metal?)

Groove/thrash metal band (I believe) from Arlington, Washington. Active during the mid-to-late 2000s.
They have a release listed in their MySpace:

Entrails of a Troubled Mind
1. Swaying Beneath the Funeral Noose (4:31)
2. Entrails of a Troubled Mind (4:11)
3. Wall Driven Thoughts (3:12)
4. The Truth Destroys Me (3:37)
5. Born in a Body Bag (4:22)
6. Slut Factory (2:34)

All songs are, as expect, lost forever, and I don't know if there's any other place with them. One of their BandMix pages (links below) had some songs a couple of years ago when I checked it, and also an image of what seemed to be the band members, most of them being young guys if I recall correctly, but these two are now gone by some reason.

Format is unknown, it might have just been a MySpace-only album, but it could also been released a CD.

Known members (as of March 14, 2006):
- Joey Barron (Vocals)
- Tyler Thompson (Guitars)
- Ryan Hoover (Guitars)
- Jr. Roberdge (Bass)
- Ryan Yancey (Drums) (Blood and Thunder) (Most probably)

- Matt Stultz (Drums) (ex-Death Rattle) (Formerly)

Matt Stultz joined shortly before the break-up of Death Rattle apparently. The rest of the lineup is featured in Local Band Network and Band Mix (excluding the drummer). Ryan Yancey might have left the band sometime after 2006 as they were last looking for a drummer.

Known links:
- BandMix
- BandMix
- Local Band Network
- MySpace

Both BandMixs have no tracks. Local Band Network has only some very basic info, and MySpace has literally nothing but the title of the tracks from their only release.

Known contact information:
- Email: theaxegod2000@yahoo.com
- Email (Ryan Yancey): ryan_cey@yahoo.com

Both of these are surely dead and abandoned.

Buried Urborn, as you can read well there, this release was released and publicly too with few physical copies to this day, at the moment he can't send me either audio files or the photos from the cd, so we came the conclude that when he finishes recording an album that is currently being recorded, he will send me the photos from that physical release along with the audio files, I hope you are very happy with these results.

Recorded a demo "Rebel's Revenge" in 1985. Need more proof of physical release and distribution.

Sample:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tmamsupni5w

The demo was recently postedn on the HMR forum. The user Egbert 65, who got thanked in the Facebook post, apparently owns a phthe demo on Cassette, since he made a digital rip of it:

Thanks, I have sent him a private message.

Just to note, I have received no reply on this demo. If anybody knows more, any help would be appreciated.

Another Discogs find, a 1996 demo tape:

It's not listed here:

Two members are credited on Discogs, and they both played in this band:

Should receive the Acromion songs, soon. It was indeed the correct Andreas. He says it was limited to 100 copies and the first and only demo of that band. They sold almost all copies back in the days, so I'm confident this will get added soon ;)

For his part, Andreas Stenlund don't have cassettes from the demo tape that Acromion released in 1996, but he could have the audiofiles from that demo tape.

Regarding Paredes Em chamas: Thstealth was kind enough to contact the band for me and they replied, that the demo material on Youtube was supposed to be released as an album, but the album was never released and the band has split up without any official releases. So I think, that the band can be removed from the list.
Could you also please remove the bands Jetlag and Access (Ger), since theyboth have been accepted?

Thanks for confirming it here. The band was already removed from the list by Paganiusi, whom I would like to thank too for the prompt reaction on my request.

*Unnamed second vocalist (1999-~2001)
*Jacob Franklin - Rhythm Guitar (2001-2003)

This is another one of those bands that is technically here under a new incarnation, but there's not enough info to add earlier version of the group. This was the first incarnation of what would eventually become The Remnant and Becoming the Archetype. They locally distributed a demo CD around 2002, but release quantity/distribution method is unclear. I've also never been able to hunt down a track list or samples, but they appear to have played the same mix of polished death metal and metalcore that their later incarnations did.

Hey MetalCuredHeadaches, the demo really was released, but nowadays the audiofiles from the demo are no longer available, neither photos of the copies that were made. I hope this works for you!

Postdata: If one of these days, the audio files come out by a person who still has this demo together with also one or another photo from the demo, I will not hesitate in bumping this search and in put it an edit.

Only a rough digital demo, although they mention an upcoming CD edition here. It's pretty atrocious, though metal, I guess.

Hey Azmodes, the CD edition never came out.

Borderline Ambient / Black Metal tape that was submitted some time ago. We told the guy to submit the full demo, but apparently didn't (probably because it's not on the internet).

Want to listen to the full thing before adding or blacklisting.

Was submitted with a full rip of the tape.
Blackened Ambient - > blacklisted.

They have released a demo cassette "Démon" in 1995. I need proof of physical release of that demo. Kazeta means "Cassette" in english: https://bandzone.cz/_109433

The band just confirmed me there was a cassette that was given to friends and fans who wanted one. Nothing fancy, no artwork, just the cassette with band name and tracklist. Still fine though.
Feel free to submit!
