Hey Azmodes, just wanted to say thanks for locking my other thread (not being sarcastic) with the list of bands, and letting me know about the pop-up for blacklisted bands. That makes going through this much easier. I'll update this post in a moment when I've weeded out those bands.

EDIT: Non-blacklisted bands below.

This list is up-to-date as of its posting. If there are bands with the same name on the site, I can assure you these are different ones. I've added the albums they appear on in parenthesis for further identification help.

About 99% of these bands come from split albums with bands that are already on the site, hopefully that helps further with identifying them.

I got the full album from 2010 and also a proof in latest blog entries that the same band released it digitally, but there is a detail, it seems that the band only released it digitally and not physically. PaganiusI, it's a valid submission for Brandon Storm?

Might be fine. Worth giving it a try in the queue. I mean, it says it's up for download and made it's way to tons of download blogs, so it's definitely out there

I'll let him know. Scratch that, he hasn't been online since 2016, so go ahead and submit it yourself.

Pre-She Said Destroy, according to their MA entry, they released two demos under that name. The band confirms that they released "a couple of demos" under that name in an interview. Metalness shouldn't really be an issue here, but more details about those demos would be great.

https://i.paste.pics/8T6OB.png

Today I decided to contact the band directly, since 2 days ago they announced their return on their official FB page and they confirmed what Beaten to Death confirmed to you, they never released anything under that name, since saying that the band started under that name it was really a joke. Maybe this could be updated as fake band?

Announcement of return:
https://www.facebook.com/story.php?stor ... 6328145278

Postdata: I don't know if Beaten is with them on this return.

Groove/thrash metal band (I believe) from Arlington, Washington. Active during the mid-to-late 2000s.
They have a release listed in their MySpace:

Entrails of a Troubled Mind
1. Swaying Beneath the Funeral Noose (4:31)
2. Entrails of a Troubled Mind (4:11)
3. Wall Driven Thoughts (3:12)
4. The Truth Destroys Me (3:37)
5. Born in a Body Bag (4:22)
6. Slut Factory (2:34)

All songs are, as expect, lost forever, and I don't know if there's any other place with them. One of their BandMix pages (links below) had some songs a couple of years ago when I checked it, and also an image of what seemed to be the band members, most of them being young guys if I recall correctly, but these two are now gone by some reason.

Format is unknown, it might have just been a MySpace-only album, but it could also been released a CD.

Known members (as of March 14, 2006):
- Joey Barron (Vocals)
- Tyler Thompson (Guitars)
- Ryan Hoover (Guitars)
- Jr. Roberdge (Bass)
- Ryan Yancey (Drums) (Blood and Thunder) (Most probably)

- Matt Stultz (Drums) (ex-Death Rattle) (Formerly)

Matt Stultz joined shortly before the break-up of Death Rattle apparently. The rest of the lineup is featured in Local Band Network and Band Mix (excluding the drummer). Ryan Yancey might have left the band sometime after 2006 as they were last looking for a drummer.

Known links:
- BandMix
- BandMix
- Local Band Network
- MySpace

Both BandMixs have no tracks. Local Band Network has only some very basic info, and MySpace has literally nothing but the title of the tracks from their only release.

Known contact information:
- Email: theaxegod2000@yahoo.com
- Email (Ryan Yancey): ryan_cey@yahoo.com

Both of these are surely dead and abandoned.

Buried Urborn, as you can read well there, this release was released and publicly too with few physical copies to this day, at the moment he can't send me either audio files or the photos from the cd, so we came the conclude that when he finishes recording an album that is currently being recorded, he will send me the photos from that physical release along with the audio files, I hope you are very happy with these results.

Thanks! I hope he finds that CD.

Thanks for your help, but I don not quite understand the answer: I have already counted on that, that the demo demo was most probably self-released, so that's no surprise for me. The cCrucial questio is nemelly, if it was ever released in some from, bbe it on CD-R, tape cCD or as free download? DDid he told you anything about that.
Also regarding the picture, which you have linked. I have been told that isit shows the demo cover with band logo and a photo of the band, alalong with the address of their website. Is it the actual scan of the cover of the demo? You must count with my eye hadicap in that regard. Thanks.

The conversation didn't end there, I asked if it was released independently or if, in other words, it was never officially and publicly, I must wait for his answer.
Since he was not very direct, I had to ask him the question again.

Needs research. - Металлаккорд (Metallakkord) (Russia)

Released magnitoalbum Злой Рок in 1987.

It is described here as speed metal: https://web.archive.org/web/20070404070 ... yerst0.jpg
But the only song available is hard rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZCPYFDF57c

So, the question is if they are really a speed emtal band and the song is an exception or if it represents their usual sound.

But the only song available is hard rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZCPYFDF57c

So, the question is if they are really a speed emtal band and the song is an exception or if it represents their usual sound.

Hey LordSauron, I got the full album and physical proofs, I hope that this works for you:

Thank you very much for the reply. However, apart from Злой рок, I think those songs are from S. Mavrin's solo albums and misslabeled as Металлаккорд's songs :(

Apparently a thrash metal band from Cleveland Ohio. Last known activity was in late 2003. Apparently they released a CD called Sniffing Death, on 10/09/2003. Nothing else is known about the release. They were signed to Hate Impostive Records. They most probably changed their name not long after this time.

Known members:
- Todd Ayer (Guitars, Vocals)
- Dan Tegarty (Lead Vocals)

- Frank Kordas (Unknown, ?-2003)

Known links:
- Local Band Network
- Homepage (dead, no archive available)

Known contact:
- Email: krazy4korn424@msn.com (Frank Kordas)

Obviously that email is dead anyway.

Hey BuriedUnborn, yesterday I contacted with the vocalist and I said me very clearly that he doesn't even remember if that CD was released or not, if so, then maybe it was never released at the end of the day. I hope that this works for you

Hey Witcher, since Flavio gave his answer this morning regarding my 2 questions, in short, the Themplo demo from 2001 wasn't released literally in any way. No release as I said previously.

That's a pity, since the music was pretty good. Well, now the band can be removed from the list of bands for research. thanks anyway.

Lathspell (Tape, 2014, Hypogea Maleficare)
Side Alpha:
1. Cainite
2. Cainite Part 2
3. Cainite Part 1 & 2
4. Fils De Caien
5. Cainite
6. Freeze World
7. War Spirit
8. Strange Dream
Side Omega:
9. Apocalypse With Cain
10. Warspirit
11. Alone
12. Apocalypse With Cain
13. Warspirit

This is pre-Aryos, so I don't doubt it being black metal. The discogs page however lists it as unofficial. The page is a mess, though. The owner of the label is the second contributor, Saturn156, who created the mess with vandalism and is also a known bootlegger. Aryos's facebook doesn't mention this release, either. It's probably unofficial or at least disputed, which would explain the vandalism, but might be worth looking into.

It exists at least:

Ahah, just saw that, this is really funny, this label is the past name of my actual label! I sent them a message, I'll keep you up.
Just for the "story", Hypogea Maleficare, was ran by two guys, one day, one of them has stolen a huge part of the "distro" (don't even know if this word is english, sorry). Then, the other guy decided to create Hypogea Invictus, on the ashes of HM. He his someone we can trust in, I'm waiting for his answer.

Axel666MoWi wrote:
Regarding Forlorn (bm - France), I got my answers. So "Saturn" released this after the stealing of the label's merch, at this time he was making bootlegs with super limited copies (don't know how many). Before that he talked a lot about Forlorn, but as it was released after the internal problems, the tape from Fornolrn is 80% bootleg. However, I sent a message to Aryos, to confirm it, but no answer yet.

----------------------------------------------------------

Aryos told me "It's not official but not unofficial too [...] I gave them the authorisation to produce it, it's half official, but for many reasons it can't be fully official".

It's not helping a lot, the band itself is not sure about the authenticity of this release by Hypogea Maleficare. However he told me that official tapes of rehearsals were made. Nothing more.

PaganiusI wrote:
As for Forlorn, I don't think that release is acceptable since the authenticity is disputed. But if they released official tapes of rehearsals, the band might still be acceptable as a whole if we can find proof for their existence (and samples).

Hey Halloween, this release is really a semi-autorised bootleg.

hrm, we already knew that (see comments).
That guy also told Alex666MoWi that official tapes of rehearsals were made, but these lack proof of VR which Idon't think Aryos was able to provide or something?

As I already said. Forlorn has official tapes of rehearsals. That's what he told us, so the band might still be acceptable based on those rehearsals, if we ever find them and can somehow deduce their distribution.

and yes, I will clean up the stuff here when I got time for it.

So having said all this, it's only Lathspell an unofficial release from them? I am honestly a bit confused and tangled haha!

Needs research. - Ramm
Genre: Melodic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal
Location: Sweden

B-side is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lzCfdW3Cw8 Sounds like Europe, not very convincing. A-side would be nice, but I'm not really willing to shell out 50 € for the 7'' on Discogs.

Holger Birnbräuer on April 23:
I have the audiofiles from that demo, I can send you in a WinRAR file through via Mediafire or Box link as you're asking me.

Holger Birnbräuer on May 7:
Sorry, dude. But you made me listen to the things we recorded a long time ago for the first time in about 20 years. I don't think i want to be that material out in the world...

Given this response, he is absolutely not interested in sending anything, unless he radically changes his mind again.

Lol. Musik-sammler is basically German Discogs. They probably don't even have the files. No need to contact them

Genre: Funk Metal??

The comedy duo stated that both of them were in metal bands in the 90s, and gave away the name of this one in an interview with German StageDiver
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXomIkXnMqg

Presumably released a self-titled album in 1996 which is tagged as Funk Metal on Discogs:

Owned by 0 people, so musical samples and proof of release is needed.

There is a DJ version of the song Dopehead on the Demo-Cd, which sounds strongly sususpicious. The band could just sound like other German crossover/funk acts from the nineties like Freaky Fukin Weirdoz, Blackeyed Blonde, Headcrash and H-Blockx. I couldn't find any samples, though.

Yeah, this band rings a few alerts, but it might be on the right side of the fence. :/
Also, I think they shared some tour experiences in their biography, there was something in a preview I might or might not linkonce I'm back on my PC. Only tour stories and how their comedy thing started from what I glanced. Don't think there are specifics about the music and releases.

Got the song from the sampler here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pmwb4zs0k4t4 ... uIVEa?dl=0

Some thrashier parts, but mainly typical 90s funk/crossover stuff. I doubt the rest is much different.

Yeah, probably not. Very similar to their other band which is def. not acceptable.

Edit: everything to this point should be up-to-date, I think.

PS: Stealth, have you had time to submit Devastating Sorrow yet? Can't find it in the queue, site or deletion history.
