Awesome, I'm adding all of these bands to the list.
Nemesis (Turkey) might be able to be added based on what information you've posted here - despite not having the full track listing of the cassette. Do you know what time their song begins on the video? Thanks.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwK5b9L51VA

БезДна can be submitted.

José Luis Mota can be submitted - should be able to be accepted based on the first album alone.

Well as for José Luis Mota, I would like to find more infos about his many "Exitos" CD.... but I doubt collectos from Mexico would be of some help....

As for "БезДна".... I know that most of the CD reissues add a lot of bonus tracks and some of the photos I uploaded are taken from the reissues and not from the original. Once again: never get any reply from the band, from the label or the rock pub who re-released those CD

Nemesis (Turkey): I have no tracklist. All of these demos / bands are owned by a famous collector who runs a music label in Istanbul but on purpose he never share information about them in order to not decrease the value of his "rarities". Even when I met him in Istanbul he purposedly avoided to reply to all these basic questions as he doesn't want to share information with anybody.... So I prefer to have full tracklist instead of adding infos like "they released a demo" or "tracklist unknown, ytear unknown, info unknown".

As for the song on the "Bok Corbasi Compilation".... they quality is so shitty and beyond unaudible that I don't even know which one is it....

as for the other band: I am checking my want list from Madagascar: over 60 demo/cd/album/tapes released and absolutely ZERO photos of those releases, ZERo tracklist, not even release years or biographies.... well, if they don't care about their production, why should I? Same for most of bands from Malaysia.... collectors don't want to share those information otherwise their copies would decrease in value.... keep them secret and keep high value in your hands.... that's life...

Regarding red Metal: Their 2Y020 album seems to be an acceptable mixture of death/black metal and groove metal, so I am posting it here as an example:

Red Metal can be submitted. The album released above is really good metal. "Poizina Mahery" has a picture of the cassette release at Discogs, and the full release can be streamed on YouTube - a lot of it sounds fine. Albums that pictures can't be found of can be added to the additional notes section for now.

Regarding Bastille (Texas), logo/Facebook contact of known member Scott Draughon: https://www.facebook.com/10497389097065 ... k7vcqZfwU1
- not certain, but from the look of this being uploaded on the same day of a jam with Jeff Morrison, he may have been the band's guitarist.
- from this 1993 newspaper article, Buddy Guarnere was their vocalist, and 2 of the band's songs were "Shed a Tear" and "Ghostly Tale":

regarding Red Metal: King Spooky already said, that you can submbmit them. It does not matter, tthat the info abou their discography amd menbrs is not complete, it can be added later. The puppurpose of this thred is to find enough info, so that the band can be added, the submisssion does not have to be pperfect.

Needs research. - Anatolia
Location: Unknown (maybe Saudi Arabia)
Genre: Heavy Metal / Hard Rock

https://www.discogs.com/it/artist/2939140-Anatolia

Released a sole tape album titled "Moods" in 1993 (the other entering on Discogs has nothing to do, it's just an american-based turkish composer). It was released for the label "Stallions Records" based in Saudi Arabia who released local edition for several international hard rock / metal bands

Three songs can be found here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGbNuesB_jc (this is a pure metal song, despite a boring intro)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl6ny_Wq80Y (metal ballad?)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAq7gHVw24Y (nothing special)

I guess we need to get more songs to get a better picture of how the album sounds like

Needs research. - Megapower
Another great find would be MEGAPOWER from Jordan, with drummer Jamal Obeidat (Trouble Agency, Belgium), formerly known as "Cosmos" (from 1983 to 1989: one instrumental song is known): they released an 11-track studio tape in 1991 and one song off that session has been released here:

https://www.discogs.com/artist/4249577-Megapower

I got in touch with the drummer years ago but he told me that he doesn't have the original tape anymore. They re-grouped a few years ago with a new line up based in Belgium.

Other bands who need to be located, from Middle East (at least, those who have released a demo or album for sure, but there are many other which are even less studied):

Hard Rock. - Cedra
Spoiler: show
(Lebanon, with Rabih Saad) who released the "Out from the Grave" CD in 1996 (one song is titled "Magic")

Needs research. - Sheena / Shyna
(Lebanon, with Rabih Saad) who released a thrash demo tape in 1994

Needs research. - Exceed
(Lebanon - released he "System Manipulated" (or something like that) tape album in 1996-1997 (described as "heavy metal": I lost all info)

Needs research. - Electric Warriors
(Lebanon): formed in 1983. Released a full lenght tape album somewhere in the 80's

Needs research. - Hebron
(Jordan): Released a thrash demo tape in 1995. Formed in 1993

Needs research. - Zaharet
(Jordan): Released a 2-song demp tape in 1997 (with the songs "Sadoum" and "Man of the Desert")

Rock. - Ghassan Rahbani
Spoiler: show
(Lebanon): released a tape album titled "At last the first" with the band HAZE / WILD HAZE (active between 1981-1984): there were pictures of the band and the tape on Facebook. Plus his first solo albums "One of a Kind" (released on Lp, 1985) and "The Link" (1992, released on CD): but no audio sources are available despite these last two releases are quite known and sold online

Needs research. - Axe Attack
(Pakistan, with the late Aamir Zaki). Active in 1984-1986, released the album "The Bomb" in 1985, described as "heavy metal"

Hard Rock. - The Barbarians
Spoiler: show
(Pakistan, with Asad Ahmed and Jamal Afridi). Active between 1987-1990, released a 10-songs tape album titled "Yeh Zindagi Hai" for EMI Music Pakistan. Descirbed as heavy metal
track listing of "Yeh Zindagi Hai" -
A1 Yeh Zindagi Hai/ A2 Sapna/ A3 Kiya Huwa/ A4 Aao Na/ A5 Khushi
B1 Rahon Kay Nishan/ B2 Hot Love/ B3 Never Take No/ B4 Guitar showcase (Instrumental)/ B5 Keyboard showcase (Instrumental)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- plus no less than 30-35 metal / thrash bands from the Indian State of Manipur and other parts of India (Kolkhata, Delhi, Mangalore, Bangalore) who released demo and full album tapes in the late 80's/early 90's (I had an almost complete list: before losing everything, I submitted around 20 of them or a project on the Corroseum website which I had to discontinue because I lost all my data)

Zaharet was on MA in V1 until the mass purge of Middle-Eastern bands. I managed to find some proof of physical releases to add back some of the bands but many got lost with the purge. Anyway Zaharet played some sort of doom metal I had the demo as mp3 so I can confirm that they are a metal band. Unfortunately the demo got lost.

Ghassan Rahbani is a "very" known musician in Lebanon. I know he was into hard rock back in the days. I am not sure those releases are metal though and I doubt it, but who knows maybe they are heavy enough for the time of the release.

I might be able to find some information regarding some of the Lebanese bands if I can get hold of some people.

Needs research. - Rebellion
Location: Lebanon
Genre: Doom/Death/Middle Eastern Folk Metal
Released a demo?

Needs research. - Odyssey
- (Lebanon) - released the CD "Beyond Man's Perception" in 2004. Formed in 1995 they released also other songs like "Trigger of Vengeance" and "The Odyssey"

But the list of totally unknown bands from Middle East is incredibly long (I have a not very updated one) and I save you the 350+ bands from India active since the 80's including speed/thrash/death bands who released for sure demos and album (I know at least 40-50 of them who released something as I prepared a quite deep and unique dossier for a forum before losing everything: but the temporary pages can still be rescued somehow).... one day when I will fix my hard disk I'll try to post some other small bits for further investigation.

I lost hopes to find even a single info on them. Maybe I need to go to Nepal again, sooner or later and try some luck.

Needs research. - The Hidden (Malaysia)

Needs research. - Symposium (Malaysia)

Another incredibly ignored split album is this one from Malaysia:

The Hidden / Symposium: Split Tape 2004

https://www.metal-archives.com/band/edit/id/3540462595

Released on Pony Canyon Malaysia, very easy to find for sale but absolutely no samples around anywhere. The only song available is the one by The Hidden on a local compilation (but it sounds like shit).
Absolutely zero information about Symposium.

Anyway in this review, they both look promising:

yeah... I listened to the first Chronic Mass demo "Messed Chronically" back at the glorious Ricecooker music store when it was based at the Annexe Pasar Seni back in the days... it was cool thrashcore. But at the time I wasn't absolutely interested in "working" for M-A.... I listened to it a couple more times when I go to Kuala Lumpur but I never managed to get a copy (well, nobody ever wanted to make a copy, to be honest) or record it with my phone. But, in the beginning, it was fast thrashcore in a D.R.I. style. Then they became more canonic HC

Crucifixion (Venezuela), Red Metal, Sex Hansen, and Nemesis (Turkey) can be added (their song at the YouTube link plays from 21:57-26:29). Baldadeath, these 4 bands are reserved for you to add over the next week.

Odyssey and Scalped Vorace sound good musically, and are metal. If there is proof of release (which could simply be a screenshot of a band member confirming that it was released on a certain format, and how it was distributed / in what quantity, preferrably), they can be added as well.

As for Nemesis and Crucifixion I don't have a tracklist. Crucifixion (Venezuela)'s CD is just a home made CD: quite likely the 3 songs are taken from the original demo but I am not sure. Nobody ever replied to my questions.

As for other bands from Madagascar: yeah, I tracked all them down since 10+ years.... the problem with bands from this country is that nobody cares to even show a photo of a physical release. it seens nobody care about real albums overthere. Just single songs to talk about. For years and years I got in touch with these bands and they only reply: "listen to our new song, look at our new videoclip, you can donwload from this or that website our best songs".... even the biggest hard rock (AC/DC style) band from Madagascar, Tselatra... I am aware of at least 15 CD/DVD in physical format but they may have much much much more. And for those CDs (which I sill have few pics) there isn't even a tracklist or a release year. Or other bands considered metal or hard rock (Kiaka, Green, Ambondrona, Dillie) that I saw some microscopic proof of physiical release... zero information, zero tracklist, zero release year, zero audio sources... it's totally frustrating working with a local community who doesn't pay the slightest attention to - at least - provide these less than basic information. Thery just say "we released our new CD" and that's it: no pics, no info... anyway, local fans know where or how to get them. That's enough.
