If it can be verified that a band on this list didn't have any release, please let me know and I can move it to the bottom of the page.

VENUS - (if enough information to submit is found, please allow user BuriedUnborn to do so, who brought them up in here a while ago) -
Roberto Armada "Skippy" Barredo was one of the founders of Venus, along with Miguel Rodríguez (g) Julio Rojo (g), Héctor Volta (dr) and Jesús Jardines (voc).
Here is the list of musicians that played in the band Venus:
Jesus Jardines- voc
Jesus Fonseca- voc
Dionisio Arce- voc
Carlos “Koky” García- voc
Tomaides Cobas- voc
Gustavo Fernández- voc
Miguel Rodriguez „El Muelle” Darias- g
Julio Rojo- g
Ulises Seijö Valdez- g
Carlos Alberto Arboleya- g
Roberto Armada “Skippy” Barredo- bg
Jorge Luis Barba- bg
Barbaro Cuervo- kybds
Hector Volta Calzadilla- dr
Rodolfo “Rodolfito” Rodriguez - dr
Frank Marticorena- dr
(additional notes): Venus was reactivated in October 1988.
While the group was inactive "El Muelle" (guitar) and Hector (drums) started working with other bands, so Frank Marticorena takes the position of drums, while Ulises decides to take full control of the guitars, forming a quartet.
They thought about changing the name to come out as a new band and unnoticed, but they realized they had to continue what they had already started because VENUS meant a lot in the national Rock/Metal movement and they needed to bring it back to its place, besides, why hide when there are already other bands playing in public?
The decision was taken and they started again.
The band concentrated on creating new songs, (although they had already been working on this before the split), with Ulises mainly responsible for ideas, as Humberto Manduley, due to personal problems, did not continue with the band (from 1982 to 1985, Humberto Manduley collaborated on some pieces of the repertoire (Amenaza nuclear, Pershing, Del metal más duro, Los enemigos del mundo, Después, Lobos solitarios), although they also had other well remembered pieces such as Desconfianza and Apocalipsis. They starred in the documentary Ojo de agua (1988, EICTV.)
The line-up of the band changed from time to time, as "Diony" would leave and return for various reasons, making it very unstable, and the group often had to look for replacements who never became part of the band.
In the meantime, they continued to participate in radio shows, recording some of their new songs in Cuban TV studios thanks to acquaintances and touring in various venues that they managed themselves.
On one occasion, Ulises decides to add a keyboard to the band to enhance the songs and brings in keyboardist Barbaro Cuervo (who officially joins the band), which caused discontent among the other band members. In early 1990, the band became increasingly "hot" due to divergences and contradictions, which led to "Skippy" and "Diony" leaving the band to form another band with a more aggressive metal character, leaving Ulysses in charge. They were replaced by Jorge Luis Barba (bass) and Tomaides Cobas (voice).
The group remained active, but not as before. Besides, the departure of the last two members had an impact on the band's image, they identified themselves with the audience in such a way that Fans no longer perceived VENUS the same way.
On the other hand, they no longer participated in radio broadcasts or recorded new songs in any studio, they only gave occasional performances and had to leave the rehearsal site at Casa de la Cultura de la Habana Vieja to move back to Frank's house.
In mid-1993, Ulises decides to disband the band.
VICEVERSA - The band was founded in 1991 with
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... res/291805 as vocalist and
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... era/926789 . Angel Luis later played for Challenger.
VORTEX - Progressive Heavy metal from Camagüey. Disbanded shortly after Raciel's death, in December 1994, in a road accident. Raciel (also of Karma, Láser, Metalaxia) was a member.
THE WINDOW - A band founded by former Lignum Crucis musicians Carlos Estevez and Angel Ortega and Erich Gómez Martínez, later in Agonizer.
ZONA OBSCURA - founded in January 1993 as Omega
