No, RN is not a valid source for discography entries, streaming or otherwise. Sounds like we'll have to wait until the tracklist of the CD release can be confirmed.

Ok, didn't know if RN would be valid or not. I'll see if I can get more info about these guys soon.
Thank you. :)

Awesome. Here's the full Italian list. Maybe you know some others already that could be crossed off?

It's nice the way that list can be organized by country, or any of the other headers by clicking on it at the top.

This is another italian SlowDeath who released the "Live into the Shadow" Live Demo in 1988.

All songs are cover (Black Magic, Whiplash, Am I Evil, Into the Lungs of Hell, Black Magic, Anarchy in the U.K.) but there are two originals ("Slowdeath": announced by the singer as "a piece composed by us" and "The Shadow" which is announced, at the end of Slavyer's "Post Mortem" as "next piece is still ours and it's titled The Shadow"): is it enough to be sumbitted?

Uh.... good question

-58° Divisione: RAC/Oi!. Could have some metallic approach like Malnat or Verde Bianco Rosso
-Anti: there was an italian punk/hc band from Florence (ex Putrid Fever) with the same name in the 80's. Don't know if there are others. The ones I'm talking about are 100% anarco punk
-Angus & Bombers: Angus Bidoli of Fingernails. But I don't know what kind of music is it
-Bloodsuckers (or Bloodsucker): if I remember well, they were grindcore or hc/grind. But I'm not sure. Active in the late 90's. At least the one I talk about
-Confusione Mentale: I can confirm they were punk/hc
-Daggers: there was one Daggers playing HC.... but there may be others before
-Heaven's Touch: Hard rock/Glam
-Lovelace: Glam / Rock
-Rhapsody: are they the Luca Turilli's Rhapsody?
-Stato Brado: maybe the Statobrado listed on Discogs?
-Truth Zone: heavy metal 100%. I had the demo recorded in 1991. I just wrote to the bassist today to get a copy but he does not want to share or talk about them anymore. I met the guitarist (an ex schoolmate) a couple years ago and he told me he digitalized it. Never replied back. The demo exists for sure. With cover artwork. Paid 4000 Lire back in 1991. Also my best friend had it and also the guitarist/singer of Deam Void had a copy of it. Existence confirmed. Just need audio samplers. A-la Iron Maiden.
-Impact: well, if it's the punk band, it's one of the most famous european punk/hc bands of all times. They were a little bit metallic in later releases.

All the rest.... 40% never heard of and 60% are into metal/thrash/death. I only cited the ones I am sure or quite sure

I can not check the list or organize by country: my PC has script problems and it blocks and I need to cease internet. And I can not fix it because within next 2-3 weeks I will leave Italy for a 1-2 years travel, so I can't spend money right now to fix or buy a new pc

This BloodSucker is from Turin, and supposedly have a 1984 demo.

Rhapsody were from Genoa, and recorded a 1987 demo.

Nothing more known, unfortunately.

Truth Zone sounds really interesting.

I kinda managed to sort the list by country.

DD (can't find them through the link) from Thailand are Doomed Day (side project of Donpheebin): listed already

Burnmark's (Malaysia.... maybe Singapore, need to check): you can find their album on YT:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHRq8Iz ... sncyAxOTg4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTkiH-h ... FyYQ%3D%3D

Helter Skelter (Malaysia): Helter Skelter 1989 + Antologi Tape 1991:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvrlpNo ... k4NQ%3D%3D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ri1yyP ... k5MQ%3D%3D

Last Minute (Malaysia): they appeared on "Clash of the Band" 1 & 2 only (and re-releases of them with songs taken from the 2 volumes or redux versions of the original compilation) + have one recent digital single only. All available on YT. As for Last Minute, Scandals and Trust (as well as every other malaysian band of the 80's) all the compilation which they appeared in, feature songs taken from album, no unreleased or purposedly made songs. Not counting unofficial/bootleg compilation or indonesian bootleg compilation which basically re-use always the same material over and over and over.

Scandals (Malaysia): They appear on "Juara Juara Rock" 1, 2 and 3. And subsequent re-releases wich mix, re-organize and redux all these songs under different compilation titles. Plus they appear on "Sentuhan Lagenda Rock 86-90" compilation tape with a song taken from "Juara Juara Rock 3" compilation. So, basically, as for Last Minute, their only official songs are on the 3 "JJR". If they had demos, they were never meant for distro (same as for Last Minute)

Trust (Malaysia): appeared on "Rock Power" compilation only. And bootleg re-releases or bootleg/unofficial compilation by usual malaysian bootleg labels. No other official recording exists

Madagascar: remove Balafomanga, Beetle Juice, Dillie. All the other bands.... I found a YT channel with tons of songs/video but beware: most of the malgasy bands also shot videos with romantic ballads or love songs. Don't judge by them. They may play hard rock/metal on albums (tapes, cd or whatever) and have at the same time pop rock/folk songs purposedly made for videos. As well as in the same album there can be cheesy songs. As the malgasy scene is probably the less known scene in the whole world, just keep almost every other band. It's impossible to establish even the most basic information such as a somehow orientative discography and absolutely impossible to get tape scans or photos. Links of metal bands are almost unexisting considering the quantiy of recordings and it's impossible to establish whoich album the are taken from and which format may have the album. And release year. And every other basic information.

58° Divisione (Italy): I see they are listed as black metal. Uh, so there should be 2 bands with the same name. Keep it

Anti (Italy): "Garluca" is obviously misspelled. Should be "Gianluca". No idea if it's the punk band then. Could be, could be not

Bloodsucker (Italy): Ok, it's another Bloodsucker. The one I know were hc/grind from the 90's.

Impact (Italy): I only know Impact from Ferrara which are hc with some slight metallic stuff in later recordings. But not worthing adding. IMHO. Anyway everything can be found on YT

Jackal's Dream (Hong Kong): there are a couple of song on YT:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=X6ysrFz-at4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-v-4IbiUu0

and the cd for sale on Carousell: it's the same band but they may have released other stuff

https://www.carousell.com.hk/p/%E7%BD%9 ... 220479424/

Crisis and Fireworks (listed as from China but actually they are from Hong Kong. Most chinese users changed Hong Kong as belonging to China in the past and I had to correct a lot of infos, those bast...): the compilation where they appeared in have been recently reissued on a 5xCD box but I don't know if there are some samples available. Maybe on some chinese website only (mst of them can not be accessed outside China, I need to ask my brother who lives there):

https://www.discogs.com/it/release/2487 ... nderground

Komendantsky Chas (Armenia): Punk

Yukhu (Azerbaijan, actually Yuhu as printed on the CD and tapes because they were released in Turkey): hard rock. I had a couple albums. Not bad, expecially the first album. There are a few songs on yt.

https://www.discogs.com/it/artist/3724053-Yuhu
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa4dMoP ... DqAr0q08xW

Then, I only checked these. I have not really much time in the following days to check the whole list

Plus feel free to enter my own page: there are still a lot of drafts that need to be completed. Some have photos, some other have audio links. But I didn't submit many of them because I dont want to create empty pages with discographies just added in the liner notes. I prefer to find the full details before submitting them. But if you feel that citing albums or releases it's enough.... well.... just use them.

I add a couple of bands/demos from Florence whose existence is 100% confirmed:

- Nocturnis Horis (a side project of Arum) who played only once at CPA squat and released that concert on a live demo of ultra limited circulation. People of the "old school" in Florence have it but they never shared with me because I am from Prato, which, in their eyes is only shit. Black metal. There were other members involved which, at some point, were also in Altar Of Perversion, Auramoth, Necromass but they don't want to be mentioned or connected as they want to keep pseudonyms. There was a discussion when I ran my FB page "Provincia Impazzita" where the existence of the demo was confirmed also by Brizio (Altar Of Perversion and others). Around 1993.

- Suicide Of Nation: another band who recorded a rehearsal demo and distributed in very limited quantity in Florence only. Around 1990-1991. This band was comprised of Brizio (Altar of Perversion) and members of Auramoth, Altar of Perversion, Necromass which I was forbid to cite with their real names or pseudonym. This demo is totally forbidden to be unearthed and band members imposed to all those who have it (around 20-30 people, all close/circle friends) never to share it with anybody. Even when Brizio's home burnt down (with his parents, too, unfortunately) he said that the only thing he was happy for was that even his copy of the demo disappeared forever. Also this one was discussed - well, mentioned - in my FB page. Forget about it: nobody will ever dig it out, as it seems.

These two bands, along with Truth Zone mentioned above SHOULD complete the full production of recordings made in my area within late 80's/early 90's. I'm not aware of other confirmed demos

Inertia (US) can be removed. TheGrimWombat picked it up earlier this year, and confirmed it to be the unacceptable kind of -core.

Needs research. - Akeron
Location: Washington D.C./Virginia/Maryland, US
Genre: Heavy Metal
Discography: Bio mentions recording a 2007 homemade demo with 7 songs that was well-received. Maybe enough for VR, but further information would be great and may be easily acquired since they're active again.

From the Neseblod list (maybe some of this information has been posted previously. This is what I could quickly find without referencing back each time):
- Akeron: could it be the band listed above? (seems unlikely)
- Almost Funeral was a 1989 'joke side-project' of Old Funeral. The demo is mentioned in the bio:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Old_Funeral/3969
Here is the audio and tape cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OljgNuXzcrg
Punky stuff, maybe not fit for the site.
- Arktogaa: could it be an early demo of this band that isn't on their M.A. page? https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ar ... 3540409030
- Einar Grimm Group - there's information in "Sadistic Noise" #1: https://www.instagram.com/p/CnG8ewqIL9T/
Band members (RIP 2005): https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Jiffy/264334

- Kardinal (also with Occultus): https://imgur.com/a/9RiZlmE
- Evil Kebab: tape and audio here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hvCpwlbUfQ (sucks)
- Stealer of Souls - it's a band of Blake Carrington: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... gton/24737
https://blogg.deichman.no/musikk/2012/0 ... -intervju/
(translation included from article above: - The prime mover in the band at the moment is Blake Carrington. He has previously been in Hat where he played bass. He has also been involved in Stealer of Souls which released a demo. You can buy that cassette at Neseblod for 6 bucks or something. It is totally unknown, completely obscure.)
- Wedan: this Norwegian band that was added a couple months ago? https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Wedan/3540526183

Ah, I didn't see your reply. I posted the same question in the "band appeals" section. Ok, let me see if I find some info in the italian FB group and then it's ok

Dr. Jekill (Venezuela) can be removed. It appears to be the same Venezuela band Dr. Jekyll that's posted here with additional information (which is still active on the list):
viewtopic.php?p=3007815#p3007815

The location of Dr. Erixon can be updated to Sweden. Their 1988 demo has 5 tracks if the information here is correct:
https://heavymetalrarities.com/forum/vi ... #gsc.tab=0

Enticer (California, US) can be removed in my opinion. I came across a photo of the tape, and the song titles alone sound like nothing fit for the site. https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... son/153329

From BuriedUnborn's list, is it possible that this is the Final Judgement (likely from Pennsylvania or Ohio)? https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Fi ... 3540445630

Frustration (Tur) is listed twice. Same band, and the first listing which includes thrash metal as a genre leads to more information. The second listing of it can be deleted.

Furial is listed twice. The first listing of it should be removed.

Bly's Jinx can be removed. It was brought up online that they didn't play thrash metal as the Rusted Metal book described, and a project they did shortly afterward didn't sound promising for the site.

Burial Ground - may be this California band, already listed? https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Bu ... ound/74680

^Yes, both listings of Frustration can be removed.

Death Terror with a link to the thrash metal guide seems to be the same one that's already on the research list.

Nefarious (Cuba) is probably the same band as Nefarius. The one with 'ous' spelling could probably be removed.

Negative Perception is listed twice with the same link - one can be removed.

The Blame / The Blamed (California) are probably the same band. They were playing the same circuit, and there were a lot of errors on band names in flyers then.

These bands linked to the Russian band database are likely the same ones that are already on the research list (the name appears twice):
Аверс
Выше К Небу
Другие Знаки
Мистерия
Монолит
Пьяный Ангел
Роза Ветров

It may be useful for Krister Jensen or someone else familiar with Cyrillic letters to check for other possible duplicates, as some other band names are close but not listed exactly the same.

Nope. Almost the entirety of my band research is from the early 2000s, so unless this band formed way earlier, it's clearly not them.

RUSSIA:

- Agressor: maybe this one? The other agressor known is from Estonia (pre No Big Silence):

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/%D ... 3540408895

- Alex: actually is "Al'ex" or "Al-Ex" or "Al.Ex". Alternative rap-funk-rock-metal but there's one or two demos (?) where it's written "Power Metal". Unfortunately the Metalrus forum doesn't work today:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEsKGCbasN8
http://metalrus.ru/groups/774

- Clanforge: quite likely it's ClanGforge, already listed.

- Coverзный Панк: punk, as also the band name says

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_i4Kw_WbG8

- Diadema: maybe this one:

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/%D ... 0%B0/80425

- Incest: it shouldn't be the same band already on MA, because I found a cover of their demo 1992 reissued (digitally?) on VK. Anyway, it's a generic name.

- Pautina:

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/%D ... 3540305393

- Одиум: there are 5 Odium listed already. It could be this one:

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Odium/106466

- Омон: there is one O.M.O.N. from Siberia, they are punk/grindcore, but it may be such a generic name (O.M.O.N. is the special police force in Russia)

- Орион: maybe this? name is too much generic but they also have the logo in cyrillic

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Orion/66373

- Панк-Клуб: "Punk-Club" ? mmmm...

- Фатум: there are 3 Fatum listed already. Two of them have songs in russian, so could be one of them

- Эксцесс: there are two Excess already listed. Both with album and songs in russian

Many other band name could have been badly transcripted in latin alphabet or even translated.
There are some hard rock/art rock bands in the russian list. I really have no time to check, but I remember some of them do not belong to metal but rather to rock/hard rock/art rock. Need to make a research on VKontakte, where you can find much more information

No music was ever released.

Despite the photos, it might still be a different band than the one on the site. The uploader could've confused the two bands him/herself.

Needs research. - Nuclear Damage (FIN)

May have released a demo titled The Pollution.
The full demo appeared on this compilation/5-way split:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/225330634157

The other unlisted band is blacklisted (https://ironcorpse.bandcamp.com/album/d ... -demo-1989) so samples are needed for this one.

Needs research. - Hektik
Location: Vienna, Austria
Genre: Heavy Metal
- They were featured on a couple of vinyl compilations that each have more than 6 bands. There's a brief write-up about the two songs on The Corroseum. One song is a ballad with heaving metal leanings, and the other is good heavy metal from what is said.

Death Terror can be removed. Finally found them in a 'zine, and while the YouTube poster guessed them to be Canadian or French, they're Belgian. Has a price for the demo and everything, and definitely metal so going to add it to bands that can be submitted.

Charlie Wayne Morrill (guitars, vocals) - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... rill/38464
Drummer (unknown)
Rudie Giron (session guitarist on both songs)
Corroseum review:
Spoiler: show
"Be sure to turn up the volume for this one. Not because it's the most sonically awesome thing ever released, but rather because for some reason the volume (mostly on the a-side, likely due to song length) is hardly audible. Anyway, this is some sort of epic heavy metal with distant, echoing vocals, lots of double bass drumming, and speedy guitar solos. Both songs show potential but are a bit too rough around the edges to make this the undiscovered gem everyone should be on the lookout for."

https://thecorroseum.org/features/north ... /index.php
Another recording of "No One to Love" is listed on this live Hawk album which I'm not sure is valid (https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/H ... oxy/680593), and it's a semi-ballad:

Some of their songs can be downloaded on their ReverbNation but it's hard to tell whether they released those demos in acceptable formats. They had a Facebook page but it's gone.

They have a YouTube channel too (https://www.youtube.com/@AcidBloodBand/videos), which features 'Bow to None' tracks with what seems like cover art.

Junichi is https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ura/262304. He's back in Japan now and doesn't list it as a current band, but I can't see any activity for this band past 2014 anyway - his blog posts on it end then.

I haven't found samples for them, so that would be great.

Information about these 3 early heavy metal bands can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/507994953115335 . There seems to be a lot of people that recall the bands and maybe someone has one of their tapes, or knows if any exist(ed).

Members: Bryan Le Huray (rhythm guitar, later bass for Vengeance. https://www.facebook.com/bryan.lehuray.1 , Andy Falla (guitar - also played in Venom and Vengeance).

Changed their name to Vengeance.

Needs research. - Vengeance
Location: Guernsey
Band members: 4 ex-Venom members: Charlie Herzog (drums), Gary Murchie (vocals - https://www.facebook.com/meddle.gumma.7 ), Keith Cherry (bass), Andy Falla (guitars). Gordon Liu joined on guitar, Andy left, and https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... mes/404589 was brought in as a second guitarist. Keith Cherry departed in 1984. Bryan Le Huray (ex-guitarist of Epitaph) played bass at some point, maybe as Keith's replacement in '84. Steve Collonette was also a drummer they settled on after a while. They had planned to record a demo tape in 1985 with Steve Free. Unknown whether or not that happened.
