This thread is for cases in which someone has enough information to submit a new band to the site, but don't feel like doing so themselves. The submission can then be done by someone else who discovers the post here.

New posts should include the basic proof needed for a band submission: link(s) to show that while active, they played metal by the site's definition of the term (see rules/heavy metal only), and have a valid release (rules/valid albums only). Submitters should double check for both proof of release and metalness before adding the band. Please don't post bands here whose discography will be in pre-order phase for more than a couple of days.

It's encouraged when submitting bands to the site in general that if available, basic information such as its member's names and discography be included, due to links expiring and information sometimes becoming more difficult to come by over time. If you are knowingly about to make a minimalist, bare-bones submission to the site without following it up with additional information upon acceptance, you might want to consider providing the necessary links here for someone who doesn't mind researching and inputting that information, to ensure the band's page is as complete as possible. As is the case with any submission, bands listed here which are submitted are dealt with in queue on a first-come-first-serve basis. It's possible that some may not be accepted, even if added here by a moderator (in a case where other moderators feel that the music doesn't meet the site's criteria, or if other information is discovered later that would disqualify them for one reason or another). Since one of the main purposes for this thread is time-saving, chances are that users who post bands here haven't listened to full releases, but skimmed through for a moment or two and noticed potential for being considered primarily metal. It will be the submitter's job to make the determination of whether or not to add the band to the queue.

Once you've made a submission from here, please add a post here as soon as possible to alert other users that the job is done. Submit bands found in this thread only if you plan on following through with adding information that can be found through a web search, including band-related links, a full discography, and artists who play(ed) in the band if they can be found. Thanks.

Note: Aug. 8, 2022 - Note: In order to save time (for working on report/band queues, and taking care of things in personal life) I'm going to listen less to bands that I post in this thread - so they may be off the mark sometimes, but most will probably be worth looking into.

IO (Netherlands)
Genre: Gothic/Black Metal
- the first release listed on this band's page, "In Reverie," is their only known discography:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/In ... iscography

No need to enter in this release - it can be moved over from the In Aetherium page after they're accepted. Here is a review on the CD demo to add with submission notes:

Thank you; accepted. This one is still available for anyone who feels like submitting. Their original track is just short of 5 minutes, but the cover song puts it over 5. Considering how track 1 sounds and some of the veteran band members involved, it's acceptable in my opinion - would just want to get a second opinion, so no guarantees but it should be a +1 addition:

No problem. Submitted it as well. It's a bit borderline but it should be ok.

They also have a self-titled release (1997) which I don't have any further details on, and were on this compilation: https://www.musik-sammler.de/release/we ... cd-429989/

The bands Yugular and Merlin on this compilation are both from Spain and play Heavy Metal. I own the CD and have listened to the songs. Will come back and fill information out about each band after they're added, no need for further research:

Septic (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia)
The band Sarcophaguts originally went by this name, from 2007-2012.
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sa ... iscography

The release "Necrosis Bootleg" actually has Septic's name on the cover art instead of Sarcophaguts, and was recorded when they were known under that name.
https://sarcophaguts.bandcamp.com/album ... is-bootleg

Another release, "Jawbreaker" from 2008 is listed but not currently available as a Septic title - maybe was available at one time. Can at least be mentioned in the additional notes section.
https://sarcophaguts.bandcamp.com/album/jawbreaker

A couple of Septic web links:

Black Widow (Germany) -
Active under this name from 2000-2004, releasing one full-length demo. They then changed the name to Sintech (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Si ... iscography)

https://www.discogs.com/Black-Widow-At- ... se/6229926
https://sintech.bandcamp.com/album/at-t ... c-mysteria

The above release is currently in Sintech's discography. Once Black Widow is submitted, this release can be merged over there. No need to enter this release in with the submission.

Lady Luck (Brighton, East Sussex, England)
Genre: Melodic Heavy Metal
Formerly known as Gypsy (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Gypsy/22904).
Discography: "Hammer to the Heart" EP (1989/1990, 2 different pressings)
https://www.discogs.com/artist/2823714-Lady-Luck-3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0Q3tAoH_qs
(have gotten other mod's opinions that it is "metal enough," as they are on the border between melodic metal and rock).
Note: It's not yet confirmed that they're the same band on the Metal Mythos Vol. 1 compilation that they're linked to on Discogs, so better to not add that information for now.
