An easy job, very large and clear scans... I've even colour-corrected the scans so the text is sharper and more readable. Lyrics are in German though, and have a few accented symbols and funny ßs.

Anyone speak Japanese? This report has a release that need the Japanese lyrics (included in photos with the report) added to the existing English lyrics.

I just finished adding the Japanese lyrics sections to those three songs, according to what I could understand from the booklet. As I said in the report I'm not a native Japanese speaker, so there may be some (minor) mistakes, but now it will be easier for someone else to fix it. As I said in there, I couldn't read some characters at all, two or three of them, so I wrote X's instead; if there's someone more proficient in the language that can fix them, please do.

Ok, done (to the best I could — some parts are really hard to read). Now it's just a matter of catching typos and misunderstandings, for those who are interested.

Following the Japanese lyrics theme, I'd like to ask something: If a release already has all the lyrics but only in romaji (which is not exactly Japanese but a transliteration — examples in the Versailles page), should I add the proper lyrics with kana and kanji if I have them? If yes, should I do it by entirely replacing the romaji that's in there or just add the Japanese version to the top/bottom?

@Golden_Axe: Yes, better add them - as you seem to know the real meaning of japanese text often can only be understood when the kanji are given.
An exception would be if the band would publish their lyrics only in romaji oder kana - then better leave it the way they were published. But that propably only happens quite rarely.
And I see no problem in leaving the romaji beneath the kanji since most people can't read kanji. Just write something like "transliteration:" above them.

I've changed "荒れ狂う禍神どXX怒り" to "荒れ狂う禍神どもの怒り." XX = もの (mono).

And "とどめの雷Xき命は" to "とどめの雷轟き命は." X = 轟 (雷轟 = raigou, "rolling thunder?").

That's right; also, those who know Japanese, who are most likely to follow the lyrics for real (not just the 'sound' of it), prefer the original version with kanji / kana / furigana and usually are not fond of romaji (eschewing romaji is a prevalent attitude in forums for learners I used to be part of.)

Ok, so for now, as I had them ready to paste, I added the Japanese lyrics for many Versailles and Hizaki Grace Project albums to the top of each field, and kept what was originally there at the bottom. I'm sure there are other Japanese bands I can add lyrics to, but that's for some other time.

Sciera wrote:

It's extremely rare, mostly because the native Japanese speakers don't care about romaji, they don't need it for their language — that's something created by/for foreigners and isn't even seen on native books for Japanese kids. When you see lyrics in romaji on the Internet, you can be sure that it's not what you can find on the booklet most of the time, and were mostly made using automated tools (such as the case I'm mentioning below.)

Sciera wrote:

That's how I did it, but I added 'Romaji' on top, as that's a more common term for the Japanese transliteration using the Roman alphabet. One issue I found is that there were some transliterations in the Archives that are really not good — for example:

Image

All of the transliterations for the Versailles' Jubilee album are like this. It looks as it was taken straight from an automatic romanization tool, given the complete lack of line breaks, the way the punctuation is separated from the words with a space, and the separation of the verb stems from their conjugations (ex.: 'mamot te' for 守って and 'uragira reru' for 裏切られる). I kept them the way they are, but I'm mentioning it here just in case.
