http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ana ... 3540327370. It appears, judging by the logo, that the name should be ΑΝΑΣΑ ΣΤΑΧΤΗ (not sure if Greek letters like that can be written in lowercase or not).

Anyone could figure out the band name of http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Pag ... sion/25005? Look at the logo. It is written in Bulgarian (Cyrillic) and the first word is Езическо (pagan), but I cannot figure out what the second word is.

Seems to be Езическо Обсесване (at least Google Translate indeed translates "Обсесване" as "obsession", although at the same time I've found no results for this word in Google search, and this band isn't mentioned anywhere with the Bulgarian name). Maybe you should contact some Bulgarian user to clear it up (user hewhay seems to be less or more active on the site).

A note to the moderator: I gave a series of reports on dozens of Chinese and Taiwanese bands on the change of their names to original Chinese. These reports include all bands that I think we should change their names. Also there are bands that have a Chinese name, but mainly use English name. I did not report such bands. Also, a few bands are famously known both under the Chinese and English names, then I proposed writing their names similar to "ChthoniC 閃靈".

I used Simplified Chinese for bands from Mainland China, where Simplified Chinese is used, and Traditional Chinese for bands from Taiwan.

It would be great if we can find a dedicated user who has a good knowledge of Eastern European languages, and who could go through the bands from Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Macedonia, etc. and report on suitable name changes. (Similar for bands from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Greece, the Arab World, etc.) But the number of bands is significantly larger than Chinese/Taiwanese bands.

I am probably able to go thru Japanese bands, but there are nearly 1400 of them...

If you search *è* for track titles, you will get a huge list of tracks which contains the letter è. Among them many are deformed from Czech/Slovakian letter č. So you can find a lot of Czech bands with deformed tracklist. Note that è is also a standard letter in Italian. So you need to distinguish which one is deformed and which one is not.

If you come up with deformed tracklists, one simple way to fix them is to go to v1, switch the encoding to Central European (Windows). In many cases, this would restore the letters correctly. But this is no guarantee. You may also try Central European (ISO). Sometimes the two give very similar texts, be careful which one is correct.

Czech alphabet:
A, Á, B, C, Č, D, Ď (lower case ď ), E, É, Ě, F, G, H, Ch, I, Í, J, K, L, M, N, Ň, O, Ó, P, Q, R, Ř, S, Š, T, Ť (lower case ť ), U, Ú, Ů, V, W, X, Y, Ý, Z, Ž

Slovak alphabet:
A, Á, B, C, Č, D, Ď (lower case ď ), DZ, DŽ, E, É, Ě, F, G, H, Ch, I, Í, J, K, L, Ĺ, Ľ, M, N, Ň, O, Ó, P, Q, R, Ŕ, S, Š, T, Ť (lower case ť ), U, Ú, V, W, X, Y, Ý, Z, Ž

Albums of following bands need to be modified (of course there are a lot more):
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Arz ... 3540318067 (almost all tracklists deformed)
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Asmodeus/30300 (Many tracklists and album titles deformed)
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Av ... one/255359
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ayerdall/32601 (tracklist, album titles)
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Dark_Gamballe/21097
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Crux/4419 (tracklist)

Took care of the titles and tracklists. Other errors (beyond my control) reported.

^ Google offers no results. Maybe the label can help you out?

I have a general question on this issue. Shall we report the stuff here _and_ post a report on the entry? I contacted the label of this release, but seem to get no response. Maybe it would be appropriate to mention this aspect on the band entries as well. I posted some reports some time ago, which deal with this aspect: band should have a Japanese name, but the means to type it down in the specific characters proved to be difficult.

Nah, he sent me this cover, and the track titles that the band sent him aren't displayed for him correctly, that's why I posted here.

Wait, what? Maybe the 'fly of the ravens'?

Should be "Ravens Flew" in any case.

I noticed that after approving the band. Initially I thought it was a typo for "raven's field", but Google Translate says "crows were flying", so the flew solution seems to be correct. I thought it best to let a native speaker take care of it.

Шумовая Экзекуция : Band member names should preferably be transliterated. I would've used Google, except it was throwing up mixed results... figure it'd be best to leave it to a native speaker. ;)

Inferno XIII's members also have names that look like they could've been transliterated a lot better...
