Here you'll find a list of albums that have some missing information. They tend to be splits and usually have one band missing. In case you come across other albums with incomplete information, you can post them here.

Here is a list of all splits added to MA. All entries up to 2012-04-16 were checked for errors. Feel free to double check them if you want to.

-If you come across a split that has, in addition to the regular songs by each band, one or more collaboration tracks, you can just add the bands as "band1 / band2" and then choose that entry for the track. Here is an example (track 4).

List of albums that need to be fixed. Please post here if you fix any of them, so that I can remove the entries from the list:

This album has the wrong released date. It was originally released in 1999 and reissued by the band in 2006.

Would the list of collaborations between a metal project and a non-metal project need to be listed here? If so, I can round up the ones I know.

EDIT: Also, you can remove these from the list of splits that need to be fixed:

ANOTHER EDIT: I added some of the tracks to this split, to which I found the tracklisting here, but I can't make any sense of the Pilsen Bastard tracks...maybe someone who actually understands the meaning of "28.1" and such on Discogs can add the rest. :???:

Yeah, you can post them here.

Maybe it means that each track has several songs?

Alright. :)

Here are some I'm aware of off the top of my head (both with all collaborating bands being metal, or featuring at least one non-metal band):
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Bo ... Cave/91153
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Bo ... oon/149453
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Bo ... eam/167834

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Na ... rld/331854
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/An ... les/338965

I'm honestly not sure if stuff where a band collaborates with just a vocalist (like Lulu, for example) would be considered a collaboration...what do you think, Evenfiel?

That's what I thought, too. I'll go ahead and add it like that, then, with the song titles in the additional notes: if it turns out to be incorrect then someone will inevitably file a report for it and tell us what's up. :) I suppose you can remove it from that list now.

Lulu certainly is a collaborative album. Lou Reed is not just a guest vocalist. He and Metallica came up with an album that's different from everything they did on their own careers. Also, both Lou Reed and Metallica marked Lulu as a collaborative album, and that's quite important for an album to be considered a collaborative work.

Anyone with veteran status on the site please take a look at this report I've made awhile ago, it's just a few things that are fast to correct.

Also as an addendum to that report, the correct title of the first album is actually with a hyphen and reads "El-Alamein", at least considering MA's rules of "what's on the cover is the name of the album". First print was CD-R but it has now been reissued as a pro printed digipak edition with their 2007 demo as bonus, edition done by Defense Records. Information here. There's a hidden 14th track, a cover of Death's Living Monstrosity.

;) If your knickers are getting in a twist over a report not being answered after a while, you can always nag a Veteran member via e-mail or PM if you must. Can't guarantee they'll always respond favourably, but yeah. :p

You can add this to the list of messed-up albums. (The Diarrhoea tracks are unknown.)

This is a collaborative single from two Russian bands (Сварга and Дрыгва). The only track features a member from each band, plus a guest vocalist. Not sure how to reflect that in the release though. Is it techinically a split (I'd assume so)?

Mhmmyes, we've been throwing around the idea of a "collaborative album" category, but it's nothing concrete/guaranteed (and how often does this really happen? often enough to warrant a new category?). Anyway, leave it as a single for one band and let the add. notes explain. I see the single has been added to Дрыгва's page as well with a similar explanation in the notes, which seems like an alright solution.

Added as a Full Length for Bound For Glory, but is actually a split between them and Brutal Attack.

EDIT: Turns out that this is not a split. It is an album released by a seperate band, Bound For Attack, which was a collaboration between Bound For Glory's members and Brutal Attack's members. Should be deleted then, no?

This release is not called Spite, it is called "Trapped In The Pentagram", and the track on side B should be titled "Desecration Rites (2015 Version)".

Can someone please change the title of the album to simply "Take Over And Destroy / Gatecreeper"?

I made a mistake in adding "Split" on the title when submitting the release.

Thank you.

With the exception of the three below, the entire section of collaborative albums has been updated with the new collaborative format and can be removed from the main post.

* http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jo ... dess/90069 - a report has been filed on the page, but this page can now be deleted. It is a less-complete version of http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jo ... dess/53810, which has been updated with the new format.

* http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/S. ... troy/75426 - Unsure on this one. It's a collab between S.O.B. and a musician from a noise band, but it was released under the name S.O.B.階段. Not sure if that makes it ineligible for the S.O.B. discography or not.

* http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Me ... _See/60144 - This one is a full-length from The Melvins, with lead vocals performed by Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra. Not sure if that qualifies as a collaboration, or if he is just relegated to the guest/session tab. The cover does refer to the release as "Jello Biafra with The Melvins"

So does any mod still look at this thread? There are posts from 2015 that still haven't been reflected in the OP.

As for the collab section, every single one has been corrected expect for http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/S. ... troy/75426 - Unsure on this one. It's a collab between S.O.B. and a musician from a noise band, but it was released under the name S.O.B.階段. Not sure if that makes it ineligible for the S.O.B. discography or not.

Admittedly this thread kinda fell to the wayside with Evenfiel's practical retirement. I'll take a look over it and give it an update shortly.
