Opened by Stone fuckin' Sour? Hell, at least that means I won't regret getting stuck in the beer line.

Like Kiss and Slayer, the Farewell tour won't end until folks stop showing up.

So he's got Zakk Wylde back with him now huh? What happened to that other guy who played on the "Scream" album?

Kind of cool to go see him with Megadeth opening. Although it would still be like a seven hour drive for me.

"Blasko"- that's not the same guy as the old Cryptic Slaughter bassplayer is it? If so, what a trip- to go from being some kid in a total underground punk band to playing with Ozzy!

Ozzy also had to cancel his Australia, New Zealand, and Japan dates due to pneumonia.

Quote:
Ozzy has announced that he will now cancel shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. This follows news of the postponement of the entire UK and European leg of his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour on doctors’ orders.

‘Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part,’ says Sharon Osbourne. ‘His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.'

There will be no more tours (literally) for the rest of the year, because Ozzy exacerbated a previous injury:

Quote:
OZZY OSBOURNE will postpone all his 2019 tour dates, inclusive of shows in North America and Europe, as he recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery last month. OSBOURNE will remain under doctor’s care in Los Angeles as he recovers.

Says OZZY: “I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”

The shows will be rescheduled beginning in February 2020 and concert-goers are being asked to hold onto their original tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Because some of the 2019 dates were festival appearances, not all will be rescheduled. Below are the new North American dates; the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl show will be rescheduled in July 2020, exact date TBA. The 2020 UK and European dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

OZZY‘s 2020 dates are below:

DATE CITY VENUE
Wed 5/27 Atlanta, GA State Farm Arena
Fri 5/29 Sunrise, FL BB&T Center
Sun 5/31 Tampa, FL MIDFLORIDA Credit Union

I sincerely hope Ozzy gets better, he has not had a great 2019 at all, and this has to be a serious bummer for him. The fact that his doctors are asking him to rest for the rest of the year is very concerning, given that we're only in April, but hopefully this does the trick and he's able to come back with full force! I'll post any information here as it comes out.

Quote:
It’s been a long road to Ozzy Osbourne‘s return to touring, one that has seen his planned run of Europe and the UK with Judas Priest postponed twice thus far thanks to Osbourne suffered a bout with illness and injury. While this overseas leg of his final go at traditional touring was originally booked for early 2019, the tour was ultimately rescheduled to take place in early 2020.

However, this past October saw the tour once again postponed as it was decided that Osbourne required more time to recover from the injuries he suffered in a fall earlier this year. That leads us up to now, where the tour has once again been rescheduled and is now booked to take place in the fall of 2020. Judas Priest are expected to appear throughout the run in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The rescheduled dates include:

10/23 Newcastle, UK – Utilita Arena
10/25 Glasgow, UK – SSE Hydro
10/28 London, UK – The O2
10/31 Birmingham, UK – Resorts World Arena
11/02 Manchester, UK – Manchester Arena
11/05 Dublin, IRE – 3Arena
11/08 Nottingham, UK – Motorpoint Arena
11/11 Dortmund, GER – Westfalenhalle
11/13 Prague, CZE – O2 Arena
11/16 Vienna, AUT – Stadthalle
11/19 Bologna, ITA – Unipol Arena
11/22 Madrid, SPA – WiZink Arena
11/24 Zurich, SWI – Hallenstadion
11/26 Munich, GER – Olympiahalle
11/28 Mannheim, GER – SAP Arena
11/30 Berlin, GER – Mercedes-Benz Arena
12/03 Hamburg, GER – Barclaycard Arena
12/05 Stockholm, SWE – Friends Arena
12/07 Helsinki, FIN – Hartwall Arena

Previously purchased tickets for the tour remain valid for these rescheduled dates. Osbourne himself has a new album titled “Ordinary Man” due out in early 2020 and has the following North American run booked in support of it thus far:

05/27 Atlanta, GA – State Farm Arena
05/29 Sunrise, FL – BB&T Center
05/31 Tampa, FL – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union
06/02 Charlotte, NC – PNC Music Pavilion
06/04 Cincinnati, OH – Riverbend Music Center
06/06 Hershey, PA – Hershey Park Stadium
06/11 Pittsburgh, PA – KeyBank Pavilion
06/13 Bangor, ME – Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion
06/16 Montreal, QC – Bell Centre
06/18 Hamilton, ON – First Ontario Centre
06/20 Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun Arena
06/22 New York, NY – Madison Square Garden Arena
06/24 St Louis, MO – Hollywood Casino Amphitheater
06/26 Kansas City, MO – Sprint Center
06/28 Des Moines, IA – Wells Fargo Arena
07/01 Milwaukee, WI – Amer. Family Ins. Amp (‘Summerfest‘)
07/03 St Paul, MN – Xcel Energy Center
07/07 Edmonton, AB – Rogers Place
07/09 Vancouver, BC – Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena
07/11 Tacoma, WA – Tacoma Dome
07/15 Portland, OR – Moda Center
07/17 Sacramento, CA – Golden 1 Center
07/23 Phoenix, AZ – Ak-Chin Pavilion
07/25 San Francisco, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre
07/29 San Diego, CA – North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre
07/27 Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood Bowl
07/31 Las Vegas, CA – MGM Grand Garden Arena

https://www.theprp.com/2019/11/11/news/ ... n-uk-tour/

So both the NA tour, and the European tour with Judas Priest are scheduled to take place next year. If all goes well, it seems that this will conclude his farewell tour.

EDIT:

Marilyn Manson will be opening on the American dates this summer.
