I knew shows would be coming back in the Fall, but I wasn't expecting to finally see Priest so soon!

Honestly if it was just Priest I would probably pass as much as I love that band's classic output...but I haven't seen any show since 11/19 and Sabaton is always fun live.

I'm already fully expecting this to be cancelled. I was supposed to attend the Charlotte date on the 13th and the travel ban lasts until the 21st.

Starting to wonder if we will ever be able to safely attend concerts again :ugh:

I've been really curious about the fate of this tour as well, since I have tickets to the Austin date in October. I'm hanging on to them unless it gets outright cancelled, since it would be my first time seeing priest. If it gets postponed, I'm fine as long as it eventually goes down.

Looks like they played last night so the tour goes on? Might try to pick up tickets the day of on the 23rd. Will be good to see a show for the first time in over a year and the setlist from yesterday looks fine.

Yeah, I said this in another thread but I'm pretty shocked they were able to pull this off. Must have been some special visa process that classifies them as an "essential" business. I guess it's possible most of the Priest members are US residents, but that's definitely not true of Sabaton.

That's too bad. Hope he's better soon. I was lucky to see them last week.

I saw the news last night, and it's disappointing for sure. I'm wishing Richie a speedy recovery though - health is and should be a priority for everyone and I totally understand them not wanting to push forward after such an emergency. The good news is that they are postponing the remaining dates and will honor tickets at the future shows. I'm hoping my date gets moved to a better day of the week than a Wednesday this time.

Dude had a fucking aortic rupture while playing Painkiller, didn't stop, then had to have a bunch of prosthetics installed in his chest as a result:

That might be the most metal thing that has ever happened.
