I was at the Mesa AZ Mastodon/ Opeth show in November. Mastodon played a huge amount of tunes from the new album. They were on fire for this show. I was pretty blown away by this performance. Wondering if any one else would like to chime in with comments on this tour. ? I am hoping they get back on the road with this tour in 2022.

Well, they certainly did take it back on the road!

Khemmis killed it. Opeth went full prog with their 90s screeensaver backgrounds, but they played Ghost of Perdition and Deliverance which were incredible. The new live drummer wasn't too good, though. Didn't stay for Mastodon.

Saw them in Toronto. Mastodon killed it and sounded so much better. Opeth was initially quite weak but once they started playing the older songs they got back into their rhythm, they closed their set with Deliverance which was absolutely amazing.

P.s - They played In My Time of Need from Damnation and literally the entire theatre was singing along, good times!
