I'm sure if Dave was bothered by it that much, he/they wouldn't be a part of the tour.

Yeah, why would he be pissed? It's his band, and he gets to decide which tours they're on.

It raised my eyebrow as well - I couldn't name a single song by FFDP - but I'm sure he's being compensated quite handsomely, especially seeing that the other members are hired hands.

They've opened for them before, I know they opened for them on some dates in early 2020. I still don't get why FFDP isn't the one opening for them.

FFDP has had seven gold/platinum (500k/1M US sales) records in the past 15 years. Megadeth haven't had any in the past 25 years. I get that it's weird that Megadeth are one of the most popular metal bands in the history of the world and are no longer a headliner, but they just don't bring in the fans anymore, in concert or in terms of sales.

....I guess?

They're headlining their current tour with Lamb of God and they usually headline festivals like Bloodstock or Resurrection Fest.

Their tours with FFDP are the only ones where they aren't headlining. It's dumb.

It's sad that the only band I would go for is the Hu. Never liked Megadeth that much.
