'Tis is a solid song. It is a shame, however, that Ian's voice has deteriorated so.

The 70s output is unrivaled.

I don't think his voice has deteriorated but it has aged. I listened and I could hear all the bands that they have influenced - including the metallic ones, like Falconer and Elvenking. It sounds very modern and far away from the classic era but still an awesome song.

For context, I should add that he sounds better here than he has in decades. His voice had already deteriorated by the early 80s.

There's no doubt that Ian's music has influenced scores of metal bands. They're indeed one of the few non-metal bands that I can see any metal head truly enjoying.

This is cool, I didn't realize they had a new one coming or that they were even still active. Now I wish Camel would release something new again.

Ah, but are they? After all, "the flute is a heavy, metal instrument."

These guys made my favourite non-metal album of all time (Thick as a Brick), and are now making a long-awaited comeback. Definitely excited for this.

Not the same line-up unfortunately. It's only Ian Anderson from the classic Tull that's left. And it might seem that way but this was never just his band even though he was always front and center. Barriemore Barlow was such a powerful drummer and Martin Barre's guitar playing is legendary.

New song sounds quite good. Total flute playing supremacy! Glad that they're still making albums. Fuck I love albums like Heavy Horses and Songs from the Wood.

It sure does! This is shaping up to be Ian's best work in 40 years.

As soon as that flute came in its undeniably Tull. Put a big smile on my face after hearing that.
