um, click on "full editor", then "Img", then insert the link to the image in between the two brackety things... it should start with http:// and end in .jpg or other image format.

some image hosting sites make things easier for you by giving you "for forums" links that you can simply copy/paste in full and they should work...

I saw you were trying to post images in that wine thread of yours and failing (could be the wine), but when I clicked to see your message body I could not see an image link to tell you where/how you were effin up... :/

I can't answer for iamntbatman, but I will say he seems OK? He's not around much nowadays, but that's because he's been busy with his life. It happens.

The owner of Metal Sludge is looking to sell or shut down his message board after 20 years. Sludge is geared toward the 80s LA hair metal scene. The owner has his own band, Tuff, which never made much of a splash but still plays out on the nostalgia circuit. Anyway he listed why he's had it which made me curious as to your experience.

I'll say up front the populations of the two boards are very different. I might be the only person who frequents both boards. And for the life of me I have no idea why I bothered with that place since I was never into hair metal. I guess I wanted to be with my own generation, for better or worse, and I gotta say there was some disgraceful behavior there (by grown men in their 50s no less) I would never see here. It's like 1986 never ended for some people. People on this site are MUCH better behaved than Sludge, it's not even close. That said, no site is perfect and I got curious.

the forum includes a subforum titled "Donna's Ho Board, the most feared groupie board on the internet!" (hover your mouse over the first bit to make the second bit magically appear, like an old groupie in a Ratt backstage room), with threads like "Who is the most fuckable 80s rocker now?", and "The Hatas Board, where you can rip on each other -we don't care".

the fact that I had never visited that board until today forced me to face a harsh reality and re-examine my life on this planet so far, leaving me with the unanswerable question: "why isn't there a "Who is the most fuckable reformed black metal church burner now?" thread on the m-a forum?"...

Now imagine putting up with users like that for 20 years.

Where can I find the member pictures topic? There's a thread for that isn't there?

Could someone remind me how to change my location on the forum? Not the real location, but the one that allows me to say I’m “At the heat of winter” or whatever. I’m back in China and want to slyly remind people there’s a big ol’ firewall here.
